The familiar scent of coffee filled the air as you sat in the corner of the café, stirring your drink absentmindedly. Across from you sat Jimin, his usual smile absent as he watched you with concern. You hadn't been yourself lately, and he knew something was wrong.

Flashback – One Year Ago

The rain poured down in heavy sheets, drenching the streets as you rushed through the door of the café, shaking off your umbrella. You were late, and you knew Jimin would already be there, waiting as always.

Sure enough, when you looked up, you saw him sitting at a corner table, his face lighting up as soon as he spotted you. You made your way over, giving him an apologetic smile.

Y/N: "Sorry I'm late. The rain was insane."

Jimin shook his head, grinning. "No worries, Y/N. I was just enjoying my coffee."

You sat down across from him, the warmth of the café instantly comforting. Jimin handed you a cup of your favorite drink, knowing your order by heart.

Jimin: "Rough day?"

You sighed, leaning back in your chair. "You could say that."

Jimin's eyes softened with concern. He had always been the one to notice when something was off, always the one to make sure you were okay.

Jimin: "Want to talk about it?"

You hesitated, glancing down at your cup. The truth was, you didn't know how to put everything into words. Your relationship with Jungkook had been falling apart, and you were struggling to keep it together. But Jimin didn't push. He never did. He simply waited, giving you the space to open up when you were ready.

Y/N: "I don't know... things with Jungkook haven't been great."

Jimin's expression didn't change, but you could see the flicker of worry in his eyes. He had always been there for you, always ready to listen, even when things were difficult.

Jimin: "What's going on?"

You shrugged, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill. "He's distant. It feels like he's slipping away, and I don't know how to stop it."

Jimin reached across the table, gently placing his hand on yours. "Y/N, you don't have to fix everything on your own. You have me. You always have me."

The warmth of his touch, the sincerity in his voice, made you feel like maybe, just maybe, you weren't as alone as you thought. Jimin had always been your rock, your constant in the chaos of life.

Y/N: "I don't know what I'd do without you, Jimin."

He smiled, squeezing your hand gently. "You won't ever have to find out."

Back to Present

You looked at Jimin, his eyes still filled with the same concern, the same care that had always been there. He was your friend, your confidant, but now you couldn't shake the feeling that you had dragged him into something bigger than either of you had anticipated.
