"Come on, dude, we have to go." Tob had spontaneously appeared at his table when he was just thinking about devouring his breakfast.
"What's going on?" Gene asked, taking a sip of the coffee he had brought from the café."The Muncipal Transport Company called. There was an incident in one of the tram cars last night. We're supposed to get to it now. A boring insurance claim!" Tobias answered.
"Anybody joining us?" Gene asked.
"Apart from me? No one. We're supposed to sort it out ourselves. It was only the car for people with magical abilities anyway." Gene's close friend handed him the jacket and waited. Gene grabbed his coat and threw it over himself: "So no need to rush?" Gene asked.
"It depends. They would like to assess whether they could face a lawsuit or whether they can generally take legal action. We'll talk to the people at the depot first."
Gene reached for the coffee and took another sip before walking towards the exit with Tobias. The taste of cinnamon mixed with the taste of chocolate and milk, nestling against the walnut that combined coffee and hot chocolate.
He opened the door with regret: with all the cake he had with him, this would surely be an experience of taste that would have opened up the heavens for him again. Leaving the coffee here was out of the question: it would get cold, and that would be a real shame.
