Now, students shouldn't become anxious if, after Creature Day, they still haven't gotten a creature. They can try again tomorrow, which usually works out. The student would be a Late, because they got their creature later than everyone else. Lates are surprisingly common and are to be expected. Being a Late doesn't make you fall behind that much, unlike Baby-chosen trainers.

A Baby-chosen is a trainer who's chosen by a baby magical creature. This hardly ever occurs as babies need guidance and care from their parents. The student has more chance of getting a Phoenix than being Baby-chosen. Baby-chosen trainers tend to fall behind on activities like riding, flying, or even Obstaduel because the creature is too small for those. However, it doesn't mean they fall behind on their education.

An example of a Late and Baby-chosen is Proffesor Pyrrhos. The chances of being a Late and a Baby-chosen is extremely rare. So how did she become both? She found a Phoenix egg alongside younger Prof. Idon and his dragon, Whisker Whispers. The egg hatched a bright red baby phoenix.

The 3 didn't know what to do with the baby. Also the fact there are no signs of it's parents. So WW and Idon took the baby to the nursery while Pyrrhos searched for her creautre. Funny when the two were taking the phoenix to DPC, the baby was chriping. 4 hours later, Creature Day ended, and Pyrrhos came out with no creature.

Idon was suprised she had no creature. She was surprised too, but her main concern was checking on the well-being of the baby phoenix. Leading her to the nursery, Idon informed her that the baby phoenix seemed sad and chirping and they don't know why. Upon entering, they found the baby phoenix fast asleep, but it awoke as it sensed their presence. The baby caught her eye, and so did she.

The baby didn't chrip, and it looked happy seeing her. Using his intelligence, Idon figures that the baby had been chirping because it wanted her. But they separated it from her. Pyrrhos approached, held the baby phoenix and reassured it, and letting it know it's mamas here. Suddenly, her uniform flashed colors of yellow and red.
