1. He's the Head of Dragon Trainers after the late Salazar.
2. He's neurodivergent (autistic). And he has a really great interest in plants. He'll yap about them all night.
3. If the FFA program was available in DPC he would've been a top-notch officer. (Focusing more on floral tho)
4. When he was younger he struggled with sibilance problems and was AAC user.
5. He's not really open to PDA unlike Rose.
6. He decided to grow his hair to match his (adoptive) father.
7. Originally, when he was a baby, his father (Navier) wanted to put him up for adoption or a foster home when Jayce was more healthy and older, because Navier was not ready to be a parent. But he has gotten really attached to him so yay.
8. Jayce's favorite plants are orchids and roses (duh).
9. He has his big garden and greenhouse in DPC and has classes there.
10. He does not like white gloves...
11. He eats plants... when no one is noticing.
12. He was inspired by Snape, Dark Cacao, Raine Whispers, and Finely (indigo park)
13. His original personality was really grumpy like Snape 💀
14. In the original plot, he killed Rose from a deal with a Slitherbrae ahh creature.
15. In the original plot, being the runt in the serpent family, he was made fun of, and that Slitherbrae ahh creature made a deal that if he lets them take over him, they can deal with the bad family. And in return, Jayce has to help the creature in the future. And sooo, he had a murder rampage.
(Yeah, you can see why I discarded this)
16. He has no birthday, but Navier thinks he matures every January.
17. Original plot, Jayce had a secret crush on Rose. But I don't like this idea because how would he tell her- just make them married already.)
18. He immediately comes back home from being an independent man to being Rose's man 😂.
19. He's a freaking big back!
20. During his Trainer Hatting ceremony, he was the first one in a while to grow 4 pairs of dragon wings on the hat.
