'My father Kuzon used to tell me the stories of the great Hero and how he defended the world with the great Princess. That was of course before the Great Calamity Ganon arrived and brought darkness to the kingdom. In a last-stitch effort to save the Kingdom, Legend tells that the great hero was put into a deep slumber. It's been 100 years and three years ago, I learned the story was true. Because I found the sleeping warrior.' A voice explains as a wide open kingdom is shown before a seventeen year old girl is shown sitting beside a fire. She was humming a tune as she read a book left to her by her father.
She had short blonde hair, beautiful green eyes and ears that showed she was Hylian. She wore a beautiful green t-shirt and a pair of khaki pants and a simple pair of boots. On her wrists were gloves that helped her grip things when she did climbing. Her hair was tied a little back and had little gems that hung down nearly like earrings. She looks up at the sky and she closes her book before she gets up and heads over towards a rock and slipped through as she was small enough. She jumps down from the platform above and water splashes up as she maintains her balance. She walks down the small dark tunnel into the resting chambers where a young teenage boy her age with golden-blond hair that is pulled into a small ponytail and falls past his ears. He was shirtless but wore basic trousers. She reaches up pushing a strand of his golden-blond hair away from his ear and touches the small blue hoops pierced into his ear.
"Good morning, warrior." She whispers, "Another day has come. Are you going to wake up today? It'd be nice to finally meet you as a person, instead of a sleeping person." She touches his cheek with the back of her hand. In the three years since she'd found the young warrior, she'd accidentally fallen in love with him, though she didn't know it.
"Open your eyes... Open your eyes please... The world's been waiting 100 years. Wake up, Link." She whispers and when he doesn't she sighs. She turns to begin walking away.
"Guess today isn't the day." She mutters to herself as she heads to leave the cave. She stops when she hears a small groan, the sound of someone waking up. Her eyes widen before she turns at the sound of the water that had been surrounding him, keeping him in stasis seems to drain. His eyes begin to blink open.
"My head." A voice mutters before he slowly sits up, "Where... am I?" He looks at the back of the cave before he turns to look right at her.
"Link..." She breathes out.
"Do I... know you?" He asks. She shakes her head.
"No." She whispers.
"But it feels like... I've known you for a long time." He says and looks at his hands. He slowly climbs out of the stasis bed he'd been laying in.
"Where... am I?" He asks.
"Oh. This... is the Shrine of Resurrection... I... kinda crashed my way into here, three years ago..." She explains and laughs sheepishly before she gasps, "Oh! Uh, this might be able to help." She gently pulls him over to a pedestal. It's how she learned that he was in fact Link.
"It's called a Sheikah Slate. It's meant to guide you after your long slumber." She explains.
"Slumber?" He asks before he picks it up and has a look at it. It lights up upon him touching it.
"My father told me about it when I was a girl." She explains.
"Who are you?" He asks.
"Me? Oh, my name is Sila." She explains and sounds it out 'See-La' for him. He nods. The pedestal moves and Sila looks over. Her eyes widened as the big door that had been locked finally opened. Sila had been coming in through a crawling tunnel she'd found while escaping some Bokoblins.
