Chapter Nine: The Zora's Struggle!

[Flashback]

"Say, hey there! Young ones!" A voice calls out in response. Sila and Link look over as it sounded like it came from beside them. The only thing beside them was a pillar thing.

"Up top! Above you!" The voice calls out. Sila and Link look up just in time to see a male hop down. He lands beside them and Sila's eyes widened in surprise. The male was crimson in color. He was tall and strong looking. He wears silver colored jewelry and adornments. The Zora emblem can be seen as part of his outfit on his rear fins which are the equivalent of dorsal fins.

[Light Flashes]

"I am Sidon, the Zora prince!" Sidon exclaims.

[Light Flashes]

"Zora's Domain." Sila states. They look around. Sidon runs over to them.

"Whoa! I've been waiting for you two! Welcome! Behold the pride of my people, Zora's Domain! Now I shall introduce you to the king. Hurry, this way!" Sidon exclaims with his big smile.

[Present]

Sidon turns and runs back towards the throne room to show them the way. Sila and Link first head into the Shrine which was across from them. They activate the Shrine and head inside. The shrine was called the Ne'ez Yohma Shrine. Its trial was called 'Pushing Power'. Link handles the trial while Sila stays off to the side, safe. She was too tired to be wandering around the Shrine with Link. Link gets his fourth Spirit Orb of the region and then gets transported out.

"After we speak with the king, can we find a couple of beds? I'm exhausted and cold." Sila responds. Link nods in agreement. They get caught at the shop by a girl. Link purchases arrows so that they don't run out. He pays 60 rupees. Afterwards, Link looks at Sila. She was trying not to fall asleep while walking. They'd been up for a couple days.

"Link! Sila! Over here!" Sidon exclaims. Link shakes his head and motions to Sila.

"Oh, I didn't realize you two were so tired. Alright, I'll tell my father the meeting will be in the morning. Rest well." Sidon states. They get beds at the Inn. Sila passes out as soon as her head hits the pillow.

[The Next Morning]

Sila and Link head up into the throne room. They stop in front of the King. He was a large blue looking Zora. Link, Sila and Sidon share an expression before they turn their attention to the King, Sidon's father. Sila wondered if Sidon looked like his mother.

"Ah. You must be the Hylians that Sidon brought here, correct? You did well to come all the way here! I am King Dorephan, rule of the Zora. Hm? That object upon your waist... Is that not a Sheikah Slate?! Hmm? Now that I have gotten a good look at you, it is all too clear who you two are..." The King observes aloud, "You are the Hylian Champion, Link and the Spark of Hope, Sila. Do not tell me you have forgotten me..."

"The Hylian Champion and Spark of Hope? You can't mean THE Link and Sila? Those Champions?" Sidon asks, "So that's where I have heard your names before! What a fateful coincidence that we should cross paths!" Sidon adds.

"I cannot believe it. The Hylian Champions, Link and Sila, have appeared before us... We have met numerous times, I'll have you know. Ah... So many memories! My mind is overflowing with nostalgia, my friends." Dorephan laughs out, "I had heard a terrible rumor that you two had fallen in combat, but it appears you managed to survive. Extraordinary!"

"That's the thing, Link nearly did. He lost his memory and I... was reborn from my physical form getting destroyed by Calamity Ganon. I can't remember much before my rebirth either." Sila explains.
