Morning came quicker than any of them expected, and the Turtles—now turned human—began to stir from their slumber, unaware of the monumental changes that had taken place overnight. The once familiar lair now felt strangely different, and as each of them slowly woke up, they began to notice that something was off.Leo was the first to sit up, rubbing his eyes. His muscles felt... different. He glanced down and froze. His shell—his iconic, protective shell—was gone. His hands, once three-fingered, were now fully human, and his body felt far more powerful than before. He blinked, trying to process what had happened. His fingers reached back to touch the base of his spine, and that's when he felt it: a tail.
"What the—" Leo mumbled, his voice slightly deeper than usual, his eyes widening in shock as he realized what had happened. "No way."
Across the lair, Mikey rolled over and stretched, feeling oddly... lighter. As he yawned and stood up, his orange bandana slid down over his eyes. "Huh? Did my head shrink?" He pushed the bandana back up, only to freeze as he caught his reflection in a nearby puddle of water.
"DUDE! I'm... I'm human!" Mikey shouted, jumping back and holding up his hands to inspect them. His once green skin was now replaced with normal human flesh, and his body was lean and lanky. His excitement built rapidly as he darted over to his brothers. "Guys! Guys! Look at me!"
Raph groggily sat up, feeling his fists clench. He'd been having weird dreams, but nothing prepared him for the sight that greeted him when he opened his eyes. "What the shell happened?!" His voice boomed as he stared at his now human arms. His muscles were even more pronounced than before, and without his shell, he felt oddly exposed. "This... ain't right!"
Donnie, ever the calm one, blinked several times as he processed his surroundings. His body had undergone the same transformation, and although he was just as startled, his brain quickly kicked into overdrive. "This is... impossible. We couldn't have turned into humans overnight... could we?"
Just as the brothers were coming to terms with their new forms, a sound came from the hallway. Slowly, an older figure entered the room, rubbing his forehead and muttering something in a deep voice.
Master Splinter stepped forward—but he, too, had changed. No longer the wise rat sensei, Splinter was now fully human, his once furry body replaced with the form of a lean, elderly man with long white hair tied back into a ponytail. He wore traditional robes, his posture still calm and collected, though he looked visibly perplexed by his new appearance.
"My sons..." Splinter began, his voice still carrying the wisdom of their sensei, but now more human. "It seems... we have all been transformed."
Before any of the brothers could respond, they noticed something even stranger. Sitting casually on the lair's couch, legs kicked up and sipping from a coconut drink, was none other than **Master Roshi**, his trademark sunglasses gleaming as he looked over at Splinter.
"Well, well, Splinter ol' buddy," Roshi said with a grin, adjusting his sunglasses. "Looks like you've joined the human club again, huh? Bet you didn't see that one coming!"
Splinter turned to Roshi, his expression remaining calm despite the shock. "Master Roshi? How... how did you get here? And how are we like this?"
Roshi chuckled, taking another sip from his drink. "Oh, I've got my ways. But it looks like you boys got yourselves mixed up with some powerful magic. You see, when Frieza messes with people's wishes, things tend to go haywire. Looks like Leo here even got a little bonus—bet that tail's throwing you for a loop, huh, kid?"
Leo, still trying to make sense of everything, reached back and touched his tail again, blinking in disbelief. "I'm a Saiyan...?"
Roshi nodded, as if this kind of thing happened every day. "Yep, you're one of the strongest warriors in the universe now, kid. Just like Goku. And you boys better get used to your human forms for a while—it might take some doing to undo whatever Frieza did."
Mikey, always quick to adapt, let out a loud laugh. "Are you kidding? This is awesome! Look at us! We're human, baby! I can't wait to see how pizza tastes without a beak!"
Raph, however, clenched his fists. "This is nuts! I don't care about being human or whatever Leo is now. I want my old self back! This Frieza guy's got another thing coming!"
Splinter remained calm, his hands clasped together as he assessed the situation. "We must focus. There may be a way to reverse this, but first, we need to understand exactly what Frieza did."
Roshi leaned forward, setting his drink down. "Well, I wouldn't worry too much, boys. Being human's not so bad—kinda makes things interesting. But I'd keep an eye on Leo there. With that Saiyan blood, things are bound to get... explosive."
Leo, still coming to terms with his transformation, nodded slowly. "Right. Whatever's happened, we'll deal with it. Together."
The brothers exchanged determined looks, each processing the strange twist in their lives. Though they had wished for something new on Christmas Eve, they were beginning to realize that their wishes had come with far more than they had bargained for.
