Chapter Six: The Awakening of Diablo

The next few days passed, and North still hadn't figured out his Stand. Meanwhile, South was using Manifest for all kinds of things. "Manifest, I need some new clothes," South declared, and as if on cue, a box of clothes fell out of a passing truck right in front of him. South just smiled, basking in the convenience and power of his Stand.

North, on the other hand, started to feel a simmering anger towards his brother. Amy had begun to show more interest in South, and North's frustration grew. He lashed out at South for no apparent reason, his jealousy and impatience getting the better of him.

South, seeing this, tried to calm his brother. "I'm only trying to help, North," he said earnestly.

But North, unable to control his emotions, yelled back, "You're not helping! You're messing everything up!"

Hurt and confused, South ran off, disappearing into an alley in Corey Town. North stood there, shame washing over him. He didn't understand what was coming over him—this anger, this jealousy. Then, suddenly, a name echoed in his mind: **Diablo**.

"Say my name," the voice commanded.

A smirk crossed North's face as he laughed and yelled, "DIABLO!" In an instant, his Stand appeared before him, a dark and imposing figure.

"Your ability is to copy other Stand's abilities," Diablo informed him. "But you must not tell anyone."

North understood immediately. Whoever had made him and his brother Stand users, there had to be more people involved—perhaps even the mayor. He decided then and there that he would become the bad guy if it meant uncovering the truth behind Corey Town and the Stand users within it.

That night, when North returned home, he found South and apologized. "I didn't mean what I said earlier. I figured out my Stand, but I can't tell you about it yet. Let's be heroes together," he said with a slight smirk.

South, still hurt but willing to forgive, nodded. "Let's do it."

As North lay down that night, his mind raced with thoughts of the many Stand users they might encounter. He knew their journey was just beginning, and while he had to keep the true nature of his Stand a secret, he was determined to use his newfound power to uncover the secrets of Corey Town. The Joestar brothers had a mission, and nothing would stand in their way.
