The strange sense of unease had been gnawing at Y/N for days now, creeping into every moment of her life like a shadow she couldn't shake. It wasn't just the fleeting chills that ran down her spine when she was alone in her flat. It was something deeper. Something primal.

Y/N sat at her desk, the dull glow of her laptop illuminating the darkened room. Her fingers hovered over the keyboard, but her focus had long since drifted away from the essay she was trying to write. Her eyes darted toward the window, staring into the black night beyond the glass. The curtains were drawn shut, but she swore she could feel someone—something—on the other side.

She clenched her fists, trying to will away the anxiety that had taken root in her chest. You're being paranoid. It's nothing. She repeated it like a mantra, but no matter how many times she tried to convince herself, the sensation only grew stronger.

It didn't help that the dreams had started again. The vivid, unsettling dreams that left her waking in a cold sweat, her heart pounding as though she'd been running from something.

No, not something. Someone.

Itachi's face flashed in her mind—those cold, piercing eyes that seemed to see through her, past the surface and into the deepest parts of her soul. Ever since that day in his office, the day he had touched her so gently, so deliberately, his presence had lingered.

She tried to ignore it. Tried to push away the feelings that churned inside her, a strange mixture of fear and something else—something darker, more dangerous. But the harder she tried to forget, the stronger the pull became.

Itachi was everywhere. In her thoughts, in her waking moments. And now, in her dreams.

She hadn't told anyone. Who would believe her? It wasn't like she had any proof, nothing tangible she could point to. Just a gut feeling—a creeping suspicion that had blossomed into something more sinister over the past few days. She had thought it was stress at first. Maybe she was just overworked, overthinking things.

But the dreams were too real. Too vivid. And when she woke, it was as if Itachi had been right there with her, watching her, whispering dark promises into her ear.

That night, Y/N forced herself to close her laptop, determined to get some sleep. She had been running on fumes for days, and the exhaustion was beginning to take its toll. Maybe, she reasoned, a good night's sleep would help clear her head. Maybe then she'd stop feeling like someone was constantly lurking just beyond her line of sight.

But as she crawled into bed, pulling the covers up to her chin, the unease only deepened. The silence of her flat felt oppressive, as though the very walls were closing in on her. She turned over, facing the wall, and squeezed her eyes shut.

It's just in your head. It's all in your fucking head.

The darkness settled over her like a heavy blanket, pulling her down into sleep despite the rising panic in her chest. For a brief moment, everything was still.

---

Y/N stood in the middle of a vast, empty field. The sky above her was a swirling mass of dark clouds, the wind howling around her like a feral beast. She turned in slow circles, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to make sense of where she was.

There was no one else around. Just the endless stretch of desolation, the oppressive weight of the sky pressing down on her.

Then, she saw him.

Itachi stood at the far edge of the field, his figure barely visible in the gloom. He didn't move, didn't speak. He just watched her.

Her heart leapt into her throat, and she tried to call out, but her voice was gone. No sound came from her lips, only a faint gasp of breath. She took a step forward, her body trembling with a strange mix of fear and anticipation.

Itachi's eyes locked onto hers, dark and unreadable, but she could feel the intensity behind them. He was calling her, pulling her toward him without saying a word.

Y/N's feet moved without her command, drawn to him by some invisible force. The closer she got, the more the world seemed to shift around her—the wind picked up, the clouds above roiling like a storm ready to break. But Itachi remained calm, unmoving, as though the chaos around them didn't touch him.

When she was only a few feet away, Y/N stopped. Her breath came in shallow gasps, her body frozen in place as his eyes bore into her. His presence was overwhelming, suffocating, and yet she couldn't bring herself to look away.

He reached out, his hand ghosting toward her cheek, just like he had in the classroom. But this time, there was no hesitation, no question of control. His fingers brushed her skin, cold and smooth, and Y/N felt a jolt of electricity run through her.

"You can't escape this," he murmured, his voice soft, almost tender. "You can't escape me."

Y/N's chest tightened. She wanted to scream, to pull away, but she couldn't move. His touch held her captive, a dark promise lingering in the air between them.

"I've been watching you," he continued, his lips curling into a faint smile. "You've felt it, haven't you? The eyes in the shadows. The presence you can't shake. It's me, Y/N. I'm always there."

Her heart pounded in her chest, panic surging through her veins. She wanted to run, to wake up, to break free from the nightmare. But the surrounding darkness grew thicker, swallowing the field whole, until there was nothing left but the two of them.

"You belong to me," Itachi whispered, his voice like silk. "And soon, you'll understand what that means."

His hand slid down her cheek, fingers brushing her neck, and Y/N's breath hitched. The world around her began to blur, the edges of the dream fraying as she tried to pull away. But Itachi's grip tightened, holding her in place as his eyes bore into her, dark and endless.

---

Y/N jerked awake, her body drenched in sweat. Her heart was racing, her chest heaving as she gasped for air. She clutched the blankets, her hands shaking violently.

For a moment, she was disoriented, her mind struggling to separate the dream from reality. But as the seconds ticked by, the oppressive weight of the nightmare slowly lifted, leaving her with only the cold, hard truth.

It wasn't just a dream. It was a fucking warning.

Y/N sat up in bed, her eyes darting to the window. The curtains were still closed, but she couldn't shake the feeling that if she looked outside, she would see him. Standing there, watching her. Just like in her dream.

She ran a hand through her hair, trying to calm herself, but the fear wouldn't leave. The unease that had been building for days had finally exploded into full-blown terror.

Itachi was everywhere. In her thoughts, in her dreams, in the very air she breathed.

And now, there was no denying it. He was watching her. Always.
