The air inside Itachi’s home was stifling. Every breath Y/N took felt like it was being stolen from her lungs, suffocated by the invisible chains Itachi had wrapped around her. The truth of his confession echoed in her mind, reverberating with a sense of doom she couldn’t shake.

He killed them.

Her friends. Her classmates. All the people she had ever known. They were gone, erased from her life like they had never existed. And it was all because of him. She had to get out. She had to run before he completely destroyed her too.

Her hands trembled as she stood by the window in her room, the curtains barely pulled back enough to reveal the dark, moonlit night outside. The streets beyond were quiet, still. It was late—probably after midnight—but the urge to flee was stronger than her fear. If she didn’t leave now, if she stayed any longer, she knew she would never get the chance again.

I can’t live like this. I can’t let him keep me here.

Y/N’s heart pounded in her chest, a wild, frantic rhythm that only fueled her desperation. She wasn’t even sure where she would go—she didn’t have her phone, her wallet, nothing—but none of that mattered anymore. The only thing that mattered was getting out. Getting away from him.

With one last glance over her shoulder, she slipped out of the room, her bare feet soundless against the hardwood floor as she made her way toward the back door. Every shadow seemed to shift in the darkness, every creak of the house felt like a warning that he was watching, that he knew what she was about to do.

Her pulse quickened as she reached the door, her fingers trembling as she turned the handle. The cool night air hit her face like a slap, sharp and invigorating. For the first time in days, she felt a flicker of hope. Maybe—just maybe—she could get away.

Stepping outside, she let the door close softly behind her, her breath catching in her throat as she glanced around. The yard was dimly lit by the pale glow of the moon, casting long shadows across the grass and trees. Her heart pounded in her chest as she took a hesitant step forward, then another.

Keep going. Don’t look back. Just keep going.

She made it halfway across the yard before the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. A cold shiver raced down her spine, and she froze in place, the sense of being watched crashing down on her like a tidal wave. Slowly, her eyes darted toward the house.

And that’s when she saw him.

Standing by the side of the house, shrouded in the shadows, was Itachi. His dark eyes gleamed in the faint light, locked on her with an intensity that made her blood run cold. He wasn’t running after her. He didn’t have to. The look on his face said it all—he had known. He had always known.

Y/N’s breath hitched, panic flaring in her chest as she took a step back. But before she could move, before she could even think of turning to run, he was already there.

Like a shadow himself, Itachi appeared in front of her, his hand closing around her wrist with a grip that was firm but deceptively gentle. She gasped, her body trembling as she looked up into his face. There was no anger in his eyes, no rage or fury. Just cold, calculating possession.

“Y/N,” he said softly, his voice like velvet, wrapping around her like a noose. “Did you really think you could leave?”

She couldn’t breathe. Her throat constricted as her mind screamed at her to fight, to scream, to do anything to get away from him. But the weight of his gaze, the darkness in his voice—it was paralyzing. She was trapped, just like she had been from the moment he had first laid eyes on her.

“I-I can’t stay here,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. “I can’t… I can’t live like this.”

Itachi’s lips twitched into the faintest hint of a smile, his hand sliding up her arm, pulling her closer until she was pressed against his chest. His breath was warm against her skin as he leaned in, his voice a low murmur in her ear.

“You’re never leaving,” he whispered, his tone so soft, so intimate, that it sent a shiver down her spine. “You belong to me. Always.”

Y/N’s heart stuttered in her chest, her body going rigid as the full weight of his words sank in. He wasn’t going to let her go. Not now, not ever. It didn’t matter how far she ran or how hard she tried to escape—he would always be there, pulling her back, tightening the chains around her until there was nothing left of her but the shell of the girl she used to be.

“No…” she whispered, her voice shaking as she tried to pull away. “Itachi, please… I can’t…”

But he silenced her with a finger to her lips, his expression softening, though it was no less dangerous. “You don’t need to be afraid,” he said, his voice almost soothing. “I’ll take care of you. You don’t need anyone else but me.”

Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she shook her head, her breath coming in shallow, ragged gasps. She didn’t want this. She didn’t want to be his prisoner, his possession. But the more she struggled, the tighter his grip on her became.

“You’ll learn to love it,” Itachi murmured, his fingers trailing down her arm, sending a chill through her. “In time, you’ll see that I’m the only one who can give you what you need.”

Y/N’s mind screamed at her to run, to fight back, to do something, but her body refused to obey. The overwhelming presence of Itachi consumed her, drowning her in his darkness, until all she could feel was his touch, his voice, his control.

“You’re mine, Y/N,” he whispered, his lips brushing against her ear. “And I’ll never let you go.”

A sob escaped her throat as she finally let the tears fall, her body shaking with a mixture of fear and defeat. She had tried to escape. She had tried to run. But it didn’t matter.

She was his.

And there was no way out.
