The days had begun to blur together. Time lost its meaning, slipping through Y/N's fingers like sand in an hourglass. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had a full conversation with anyone but Itachi. Her phone buzzed occasionally with missed messages from old friends-people she hadn't seen in what felt like forever-but she never answered. What was the point?

The letter from her friend still sat on her desk, a silent reminder of the world she was no longer a part of. Every time she looked at it, her stomach twisted, a creeping sense of dread curling around her like a noose tightening ever so slowly. She should be worried-terrified even-but that dark feeling? It was like she had accepted it, maybe even welcomed it.

Itachi had consumed every part of her life. His voice echoed in her thoughts, his face haunted her dreams, and every single night she found herself wandering the campus, drawn to the dark corners, knowing she'd find him watching.

Always fucking watching.

---

She couldn't explain it, but her memories were... foggy. Disjointed. She'd try to recall what had happened the night before, and it would slip away, like trying to grab smoke. She'd wake up in her bed, her body aching, her head pounding, but no memory of how she'd gotten there.

And then there was that constant feeling-the weight of his eyes on her, even when she was alone. She'd look over her shoulder, half-expecting to find him standing there, staring at her with those dark, predatory eyes. But no one was ever there.

I'm going insane.

It wasn't just paranoia. She knew it. She was spiraling, her grip on reality slipping further every day. Itachi was everywhere and nowhere all at once. His presence was like a shadow that followed her wherever she went, creeping in closer every time she tried to push it away.

---

The worst part was, she liked it.

That sick, twisted part of her-the one that had started craving his attention, his control-was growing louder. It whispered in her ear, telling her that she wanted this, that she needed it. She couldn't escape him because she didn't want to. She wanted to be consumed by him, to be completely under his control.

What the hell is wrong with me?

Y/N stared at herself in the bathroom mirror, her reflection distorted by the steam from the shower. Her eyes were hollow, dark circles forming beneath them. She looked... haunted. Like she wasn't even sure if the person staring back at her was real anymore.

She splashed cold water on her face, trying to shake off the fog in her brain, but it didn't help. Nothing helped.

---

Walking into class the next day, Y/N felt that familiar pull in her chest-the one that always led her to Itachi. He was sitting at his desk, as usual, his eyes already locked on her the moment she stepped through the door. His gaze was heavy, suffocating. She couldn't look away.

She didn't even try.

Y/N sat down, her hands shaking slightly as she opened her notebook. She hadn't written anything meaningful in days. Her notes were a mess, just random scribbles, disconnected thoughts that didn't make any sense. Her grades had started to slip, but that didn't matter anymore. Nothing mattered but him.

Itachi stood from his desk and began the lecture, his voice smooth and controlled. But every time he looked at her, Y/N felt it-felt the way he could see right through her. Like he knew every single thought running through her head. Like he was inside her mind, twisting her thoughts, making sure she couldn't escape.

Halfway through the class, Y/N couldn't take it anymore. She couldn't sit there under his gaze, couldn't listen to his voice without feeling like she was going to snap.

She grabbed her bag and stood up, her chair scraping loudly against the floor. Every head in the room turned to look at her, but she didn't care. She needed to get out. She needed air.

"Y/N," Itachi's voice stopped her in her tracks.

She froze, her hand tightening on the strap of her bag. She didn't turn around, but she could feel his eyes on her, could hear the quiet authority in his voice.

"Stay," he said, calm but firm.

And just like that, she sat back down. No hesitation, no argument. She obeyed.

Her heart raced, adrenaline coursing through her veins, but it wasn't fear. It was something darker, something more dangerous. It was the thrill of knowing she couldn't fight him, couldn't escape him. And the more he controlled her, the more she craved it.

---

Later that night, Y/N found herself walking down a dark, deserted street. She didn't know why she was there or how she had ended up so far from home, but her feet kept moving, carrying her deeper into the shadows. The streetlights flickered above her, casting eerie shadows across the pavement.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket, pulling her out of the fog for just a moment. She pulled it out and saw a message from her mom-another message she wouldn't respond to. She didn't have the energy to pretend everything was okay.

As she put the phone back in her pocket, a sudden rush of cold air swept over her, and she stopped in her tracks. That feeling was back. The one that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. She turned around slowly, her eyes scanning the empty street.

No one was there. But she knew better.

Itachi was watching. He was always watching.

---

That night, the dreams were worse.

She was standing in the middle of the campus, the buildings towering over her like dark, ominous sentinels. The sky was black, no stars, no moon-just endless darkness pressing in on her from all sides.

And then he was there.

Itachi stepped out of the shadows, his eyes glowing with something dark and dangerous. He didn't say a word as he walked towards her, his movements slow and deliberate, like a predator stalking its prey. Y/N tried to move, to run, but her feet were rooted to the ground, her body frozen in place.

He reached out, his fingers brushing against her skin, sending a shiver down her spine. His touch was cold, possessive, and it sent a thrill through her that she couldn't explain.

"You can't escape me," he whispered, his breath hot against her ear. "You don't want to."

Y/N's heart pounded in her chest, fear and desire twisting together in a sickening mix. She couldn't breathe, couldn't think. His hands gripped her tightly, pulling her closer until there was no space between them.

"I own you," Itachi murmured, his lips brushing against her neck. "Body and soul."

---

Y/N woke up in a cold sweat, her heart racing, her sheets tangled around her legs. She sat up, gasping for breath, her mind still spinning from the intensity of the dream. But even now, awake and alone in her room, she could still feel him.

He's in my head. He's always in my head.

She stumbled out of bed, her legs shaking as she made her way to the bathroom. Splashing cold water on her face did little to calm the panic rising in her chest. She gripped the edges of the sink, staring at her reflection in the mirror.

Who was she anymore? Was she even Y/N L/N, or had she become someone else? Someone entirely shaped by Itachi's influence, his control?

The walls felt like they were closing in on her, the darkness pressing in from all sides. Her mind was unraveling, piece by piece, and the worst part? She didn't want it to stop.

I'm losing myself. And I like it.
