gosh you fucking hated him. the way he would walk around hogwarts knowing every single girl was falling for him, yet acting 'humble' and never dating them. he irked you in some way - you weren't entirely sure what, though. there was a halloween party tonight, of course you'd be attending. you went shopping with astoria to london, picking out the sluttiest outfits possible. what mean girls said, right?

you had decided on a devil and astoria went with an angel. you got a skirt - if you could even call it that, even simply lifting your arms up would cause it to ride up, a tight red corset which your boobs were quite literally spilling out of, thigh high red leather boots, a headband with devils horns and fishnet tights. you were shocked to say the least when you tried on the outfit, the way it hugged your figure was dreamy. you were bound to get looks sure, but nothing seemed to matter as you were going to get plastered and hopefully forget about you getting cheated on.

cedric and you had dated for well over a year, thinking it would last and you'd be the classic high school sweethearts. but no. it all went to shit when you went to see him after class, finding a girl half naked on top of him in your dorm. you hated it - the stupid rumours which lasted what felt like weeks. all sorts of things were being said about your relationship, some things you'd never want to hear repeated again.

"merlin, we might need to skip this party," astoria slapped your ass.

"don't see why we shouldn't," you winked at her. "gosh if i see ced tonight i think i'm going to throw up."

"he's a piece of shit, sweetheart. we all know who was punching in that relationship anyways," astoria said. "you seem so tense, you really need to get some dick tonight or something. don't think i can stand seeing you so miserable."

"i know, better be some good dick though - i'll be disappointed if the dick game is weak," you giggled.

"enough sex talk, let's get going," astoria pulled on your arm towards the gryffindor common room. despite being a couple halls down, you were still able to hear the music. you weren't entirely sure how teachers never complained - without a doubt they were likely
enjoying themselves too.

you walked into the common room, instantly deafened by some god awful music. you looked around for astoria, her grip from your arm disappearing. you huffed, knowing she was likely out socialising with anyone and everyone. you walked towards the table filled with deadly liquor, you desperately needed cedric off of your mind. you took a couple shots, the harsh ethanol burnt your throat and you remembered how much you loathed drinking.

your eyes wandered, falling upon the familiar cedric. your stomach churned, the sight of a girl who had features the completely opposite of yours. you felt your heart tensen, a heavy feeling weighing it down as you watched them kiss. suddenly you felt like throwing up, barging through everyone to get to a quieter place. you weren't sure how you managed, but you made it up to the astronomy tower. you let the
water works fall, letting all the pent up anger and defeat out.
