"you've got to be fucking kidding me," you groaned as you dropped your bags on the floor.
"don't act so miserable to see me," tom had a stupidly handsome smirk on his face, laid on the one and only bed with a book in his hands
.
"there's no way i'm staying with you," you were about to turn around and walk out before tom spoke."i've already tried - the rest of the rooms are booked up, not a singular space is available. unless you fancy walking a small five miles to the next hotel, you'll be staying with me," you wanted to smack the smirk off of his stupid, devilishly handsome face.
"i'm sleeping on the floor," you said, dragging your bags in.
"whatever suits you," he shrugged his shoulders, quickly going back to reading. you rolled your eyes at his chivalry, not even bothering to offer you the bed. but the floor seemed better anyway - anything that wasn't next to him was a better option.
you opened your bag, looking into the endless pit for the pair of pyjamas you packed. or at least thought you did. "fuck," you groaned, realising you must've left them after having left packing to last minute and practically threw your clothes into your suitcase.
"what are you complaining about now?" tom huffed.
"i don't have any pyjamas," you tried looking in your bag once again - nothing.
"there's people dying, y/n," you were less than a millimetre away from jumping the boy.
"i am aware, quite frankly though, i am also allowed to have problems," you got up, sitting on the edge of the bed.
tom got up without another word, looking in his own bag. you didn't bother asking, not wanting a snarky reply like usual. "here," you looked at the black cotton shirt that tom was holding out for you.
"i'd rather die before wearing your clothes," you rolled your eyes.
"roll your eyes again or i'll roll them for you," tom threw the shirt at you.
"thanks," you rolled your eyes again, thankfully he was stood with his back to you so he wouldn't see. "bitch," you murmured.
"what was that?" tom turned around.
"nothing, nothing," you got up and went to the bathroom to change for the night. minutes later, you walked out to see tom now shirtless as he sat at the desk. you stared at his toned back, more muscular than imagined. you hated to admit, but god you just wanted to tear that back up of his as he pounded into you continuously, but that would feed his ego, so you brushed the thoughts off.
you grabbed a couple pillows and blankets, making space on the floor beside of the bed for the night.
"you can't be serious," tom spoke, not thinking you'd actually sleep on the floor.
"as serious than ever," you fluffed the pillows up as they were flatter than anything.
tom nodded even though you couldn't see him. he felt bad, taking up the soft mattress but you - against your own free will - seemed more than happy to sleep on the floor. he got himself into bed, guilt piling up in him at the warmth of the sheets, knowing you were likely cold. he pushed the thoughts to the back of his head, closing his eyes to get some sort of sleep.
nothing.
before tom knew it, half an hour had passed and he couldn't seem to truly get rid of the guilt. he got out of bed reluctantly, going over to you. he tried to keep a cool composure, watching your body rise up and down slowly as you slept. you must've been faking it - he thought. there was no way you had managed to sleep on the damned floor, but he couldn't in a bed. he crouched down, picking you up in his arms before gently placing you onto the bed. he moved a hair out of your face, a subtle smile grew on his face before he even realised as he admired your beauty.
