Complications

The next day arrived with the same tense energy that Suzune had grown accustomed to since taking charge of Class D. The study group yesterday had gone surprisingly well, considering the mix of personalities she had to manage. Sudo, however, had stormed out early, frustrated over his inability to solve a difficult math problem. Rather than asking for help, he left twenty minutes ahead of schedule, his temper getting the better of him. Despite that, Suzune felt it was a step forward.

As she walked into the classroom, she found everyone already there—some chatting quietly in small groups, others minding their own business. But Suzune had a plan today, something that would address the growing unease she sensed among her classmates.

Without warning, she strode to the teacher's podium and slammed a small box down on top of it, immediately capturing the attention of several students nearby. She clapped her hands and called out, hollering for everyone's attention. "Alright, listen up!"

The classroom fell into silence, though a few people exchanged curious looks.

"Since Chabashira-sensei isn't here yet, I'm taking this opportunity to address something important," Suzune began, her voice cutting through the usual chatter in the classroom. "I've noticed that some of you have... complaints about my leadership style."

"You can say that again..." someone muttered under their breath, but Suzune paid it no mind, keeping her focus on the task at hand.

"So, I've come up with a solution!" she declared enthusiastically. She gestured to the small box in front of her. "Everyone will get a slip of paper. You're going to write down whatever problems or issues you have with me—anything at all. No holding back. And when you're done, you'll put it in this lil', tiny box, and I'll read it out loud. Right here."

The room fell into a brief silence as students exchanged intrigued glances, clearly curious about this bold move.

"My~, My~! This sounds quite interesting!" Rokusuke Koenji, the class's most flamboyant student, chimed in with a dramatic flair, reclining in his chair while admiring his reflection in a hand mirror. "I'm sure there are quite a few who have some...thoughts about our crazy leader's methods," he said with a smirk, feet casually propped on his desk.

Suzune remained unfazed by Koenji's comment. She had grown used to his arrogant antics, especially since he'd been calling her 'crazy girl' ever since she stepped into the role of class leader. Without missing a beat, she continued, "Alright, let's get this started!"

She pulled out a stack of sticky notes and walked to the front row, placing a neat pile on each table. "Take one and pass it back. Don't hold back. I want honesty! Oh, and you don't have to write your name in it."

The class slowly began to settle down, with students taking the sticky notes and pulling out their own pens while exchanging quiet comments with their neighbors. Suzune, meanwhile, remained at the podium, arms crossed confidently as she waited for the box to start filling.

Kanji leaned over to Sotomura, who sat beside him, and whispered, "She's really gonna do it, huh? Reading them out loud and everything."

Sotomura chuckled softly. "I give it five minutes before this blows up in her face."

"You really wanna bet?" Kanji asked with a raised brow, clearly amused.

Sotomura shrugged as he took a sticky note, passed the pile back, and started writing. "Sure, why not. You're buying me a Coke if I'm right."

"Oh, it's on!" Kanji grinned, scribbling down his own note.

A few minutes passed as the classroom filled with the sound of pens scratching on paper. Slowly, students started to stand up and approach the podium to drop their folded sticky notes into the small box. Some seemed reluctant, while others, like Sudo, approached with a scowl, clearly having a lot on their minds.
