Chapter Sixteen

I walked into school, everybody looked up, Mason walked over and took hold of me, and swung me round, like we were dancing.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!!" I screamed at him. He didn't reply, just carried on, and then he swooped me down in his arms and kissed me. Everyone cheered. Somehow, some music had been turned on and we carried on dancing, the corridor had turned into a night club almost, everyone jumping up and down. Raving, partying.

The bell rang, and Mason and I pulled apart.

"What is going on!!" I screamed again into Masons face. He ignored me.

"You are just amazing; I can't believe I ever slept with anyone else," I had to smile when he said this. Everything suddenly stopped and people rushed off to their lessons. Something wasn't right. He looked at me with that same sparkle in his eyes that he used to have, before the whole him cheating on Kim happened. That same sparkle from that night. I stared into those eyes that I had stared into that night, and then he leaned in and kissed me again. This went on for around 3 minutes and then he pulled away, and asked, "Why are you crying?" Was I? I didn't realise I was. I felt my cheeks. Burning hot and moist from the tears, which continued to stream out of my eyes.

"I love you Mason," and then I forgot all about Kaleb. It was like he didn't even exist. I had fallen for the right guy in the first place. Why was it all so complicated? Why had he cheated on me though? I was going to ask but none of that mattered at the moment. It was just me and him, standing in the middle of an empty corridor.

"I love you too. Now go and dry your eyes and I'll see you tonight. Yeh?"

"Yeh," I replied sniffling.

I wondered off down the corridor, and towards the bathrooms. I passed the chemistry lab on my way. That's my class, I thought to myself. I hope I don't get in any trouble for being half an hour late. I walked on into the bathrooms. I looked in the mirror. What the hell!! It wasn't me! I was Kim! I was Kimberly Angel! That's why he said he loved me! He would have never said I love you to me, thinking about it. What on earth?!

I ran back out the bathrooms and straight to the chemistry lab. I was sitting there, working away. I ran to where I thought I had seen Mason earlier and we had kissed and everybody was dancing and where he told me he loved me. He had gone.
