I arrive at the rail bridge and see Kim standing on the other side of the railing staring down at the darkness below. I can hear the gushing of the river beneath her and I suddenly panic.

"Kim! What are you doing?!"

"Finally! You're here. I've been waiting for you forever. You're never on time. You never were. You always had to have things your way, but you were never horrible about it. I'm the bad guy here and all I was trying to do was the right thing. But then I never do the right thing. It doesn't matter how hard I try but it's always wrong."

Tears are streaming down her face and her cheeks are shining in the light of the street lamps. "I just always wanted to be you. I wanted your boyfriends, your friends, your looks, your family, and you never appreciate any of it. You just treat it like its just life. So now you're going to appreciate me, and remember me as the friend you took for granted and maybe then you'll look at life differently. Goodbye Paige." And with one movement she let herself fall.

"Noo! Kimberly!" Tears burst from my eyes and I run towards the bank leading down to the river, but before I get there I see her body get swept away out of sight. She's gone and it's all my fault. I can't breathe...
