Hi, my name is Deimos, and this may come as a surprise, but... I just got reincarnated. I don't really know how I died or how it happened. What I remembered is that after dying, I was on a gray lake with mist all around and a couple of sunflowers around, but what really caught my eye was the thing in front of me. It looked neither man nor woman but androgynous; it had a beautiful pair of red eyes, but its face was scarred, and it had no hair, making it seen a little intimidating. It was also wearing a mantle to cover its body like an ancient Greek person, and before I could talk to it, a little gnome started speaking to me.

He introduced himself, Pippel, his name, he had a little green hat and a green butler suit with brown red eyes and beard and a little mustache, that strangely suited him, he then pointed behind him and told that this was the god of entertainment, Lipus, and then proceeded to talked about what was happening right now, they called their on going idea"Project Yhorn", he said that what was happening to me was a process called soul transferring, my real body in my normal world and was fine, and if by the end of the project, I decided to come back to my original body, not even more than a second would have passed there and they will make my wish come true, the whole time he was saying this the god, just stared at me, no words said, Pippel on the other hand

Started to talk about the project, which just consisted in getting random people to reincarnate in a fantasy world of a manga, light novel, anime, books, or any kind of entertainment recently seen; in my case, the last manga I read was Maken-Ki! And I mean, it's not that it was my favorite or anything, though I remembered it with nostalgia. I was just rereading it because it appeared in my mind when there was nothing to do and my high school exams were just ending. I managed to finish it though, and they gave me the choice of either going into Maken-Ki! Or going to Berserk, which I was just also reading, and despite my love for the black swordsman

It was a no-brainer; I preferred getting into an ecchi, harem high school setting than going into a dark medieval story with demons that could very much gangbang me. Sorry... not sorry.

Anyways, they said that in exchange for the troubles of being part of the project, they will make my abilities OP, which makes me think that I was getting a system, but much to my dismay? I think. They said that they will only increase my learning and talent ability to the max and make me a little bit more attractive in exchange.

The only thing that they needed from me was just being myself; they will provide, but I had to just go around the world, doing anything I wanted. I, of course, found it weird, but... then I thought, Does it really matter? I mean, these guys could transfer my soul; they could very much crush it if they wanted; putting resistance in was just futile. Of course, I remembered that I had a mother and a father back at home, so I told them that I would accept on the condition that they make have no parents in the world I'm going, and they found no problem with it. They also gave a contract, which I read, even the little letters, and found nothing that wasn't previously mentioned by Pippel, so

I agreed without much resistance, and they said that the setting would make me go into the world of Maken-Ki! As a childhood friend of Takeru and Haruko, the main romantic interest of the protagonist, a light suddenly came around me and made me feel light. My feet left the ground, which made me panic a little, before Pippel reassured me that it was part of the process and that it would take around an hour to finish it.

The light became even brighter; I couldn't see my surroundings, but not so bright as to become annoying, which made me feel somewhat safe. In the hour I spent there, I remembered my life back home; tomorrow I was going to go fishing with my father and spent most of our evening teasing my mom. I was sad, of course, but I will see then in due time. I hope, still, if life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. I spent the rest of the time in the light thinking what was the best I could do in the world of Maken-Ki!
