Inaho and I gathered our belongings, making our way toward the residence Minori had mentioned. Haruko and Himegami went off to retrieve their things from their previous place, leaving us in a mix of anticipation and excitement.
I couldn't help but ask Haruko about Takeru, and she casually mentioned they'd managed to arrange for him to have a male roommate. A resigned expression crept onto my face as I realized that, with my intervention, he'd avoided living with the girls. I felt a twinge of guilt for the poor guy, but Inaho's warm presence—her arm snugly wrapped around mine—quickly snapped me out of my guilty feelings.
As we reached our new residence, I noticed Inaho had a mountain of snacks in her arms. She munched happily on a bag of chips, her eyes sparkling with joy as she nibbled away. "Look, Deimos-sama! Snacks!" she chirped, her enthusiasm infectious. Even as she snacked, she never let go of my arm, as if fearing I might vanish if she did. The way she clung to me felt comforting, and I couldn't help but smile at her bubbly spirit.
"Are you planning to eat all of those by yourself?" I teased, glancing down at her with a playful grin.
"Yes! But I can share... if you want" she replied, her face a bit with tears and looking like she was really forcing herself to share some of her snacks with me. I laughed and told her that I was fine for the moment. She then giggled, and I could hear her laughter—bright and sweet, a perfect melody in the vibrant atmosphere around us.
As we walked, I felt a warmth spreading through me. Inaho's unwavering smile and the way she leaned into me made the world feel lighter. Her orange hair, tied into two playful pigtails, bounced with every step, and her enthusiasm for the snacks reminded me of her character from the manga. She was like a ray of sunshine after waking up, ready to brighten my day. It felt as if all my worries melted away in the glow of her cheerful disposition.
"Deimos-sama," she said suddenly, her dark brown eyes wide with excitement. "Do you think we'll have fun living together? I bet we'll have the best time ever!" She said moving her two little pigtails from side to side
"Definitely," I replied, feeling a surge of enthusiasm as well. "I'm looking forward to it."
As Inaho happily munched on her snacks beside me, I couldn't help but glance her way. The way she bit into the chips, her lips slightly glistening with salt, caught my attention. Her figure, accentuated by her sailor uniform, was hard to ignore. She leaned closer, her pigtails and breasts were bouncing with each laugh, completely oblivious to the effect she was having.
Her laughter was bright and infectious, filling the air with a carefree energy that made everything else fade away. With every bite, she radiated joy, and I felt a warmth spreading through me. I smirked, playfully imagining how nice it would be to pull her closer and share a laugh that felt a more intimate.
I cleared my throat, reminding myself to keep my cool. Inaho was my fiancée frined?. Anyways, a playful and sweet girls and I decided cherished our bond, until I bed her of course. Still, it was hard not to feel a little thrill as I watched her enjoy her snacks. I gave her a confident grin, and I remembered a little bit of the past.
-Past-
Going back to when I first met Inaho, it was in a setting similar to Takeru's. I comforted her, but it felt different, especially with both her and Haruko. I was aware that they were still kids, and crossing that line felt wrong. With Inaho and Haruko, I genuinely liked them, and seeing Inaho cry tugged at my heart.
So instead of making grand promises, I focused on being a steady presence in her life—someone she could rely on, even though she already had a dad. I figured that when the time came for her to give back the maken to Takeru, she might feel insecure, she came to the academy to protect me after all. But my plan was simple: shower her with affection, and I was sure that would help lift her spirits and restore her confidence.
