Tonks' POV

Days passed by and I don't remember having any important dreams during that time. I have to asadmit there were days where I awould wake up out of my bed with my clothes and feet dirty and muddy but I didn't really give that importance. Those were just... Walburga things.

But in those days the thing that was the most important to me was Remus. After thinking a while of what I felt that day, I couldn't stop thinking about him. His face got sealed on my eyes and on every turn I would take I would feel him following me about to hit me like the first time.

I wondered how he felt. Did he love me? Maybe all those days I never really caused a good impression on him. I'm kind of good at searching for the worst parts of stuff so having weird thoughts of him rejecting my love were haunting me.

He loves me.

He loves me not.

Remus' POV

He thought maybe the distance that was being created between them was the right thing. He thought that maybe a while without seeing each other would give Tonks the perfect time to know other people. But every second he thought of Tonks with someone who wasn't him... he... he couldn't handle it.

She was an explosion of joy and hope in his life. She was a candle in his dark life.

And he was selfish.

He was not willing to share that light with anyone.

Tonks' POV (again)

It was late at night and for some reason I was still awake. I was sitting in front of the muggle tv I had at home hugging tightly a green pillow. Sometime I liked to watch horror movies and scare myself for a while. To fell the adrenaline of being frightened. The lights off. Just perfect.

"He's here!" the man from the tv said. "Listen to me! He's here!"

His maniac eyes followed every single person that left the room. I felt I was there, following the woman with the red dress.

"Trust me," the man said grabbing the young lady's arm. "He's here... And he's going to kill us."

I know that was probably the worst I-want-to-sound-scary line ever but actually I jumped of terror because of the sudden knock on my door.

I looked at the clock next to me. Why would someone be there at my house at that specific time?!

I stood up and walked slowly towards the door, without forgetting my wand of the couch. I unlocked the door and took some steps behind. Pointing my wand at whoever was behind that door, I softly started speaking.

"Who's there?" I heard my voice shaking of fear.

"Why would you unlock the door before asking?"

I automatically recognize my favorite cousin's sarcastic voice and completely opened the door to let him in.

"How did you you know I opened it?" I asked before embracing him.

"Because of the noise. The noise the lock makes when it's unlocked..." he added at my face of confusion.

"Okay. Then... Hmm... Want some tea? Coffee?" I said as I make a sign for him to sit on the messy couch.

"No, thanks."

"Oh! Please! Forget the time I broke the mug on your head! I was only five!" I turned on the lights.

"You still act like a five year old girl."

I smiled. I was expecting his usual mocking smile but everything I got grimace. Was he okay?

"What's that?" he asked pointing at the tv.
