4. Nightmemory

My dad woke me up early in the morning but I didn't want to leave my bed.

"Princess, were going to be late"

"I want to sleep forever, dad!"

I turned around and gave the back to my dad.

"We're going to see Sirius"

I opened my eyes as plates. I forgot that today we were going to Hogwarts for Sirius' last day, the day he officially leaves school and becomes a man. But I think he's never growing up.

Five minutes after that, I was at the table ready to have breakfast.

"Oh look at your hair!" my mum said. It was bright pink.

"I like it like that!"

"Are you sure you want it to be pink?" dad said.

"Yes!"

"Okay but first let me make it look tidier" she started combing my hair.

Now I had two pink ponytails.

I smiled and ate the fried eggs my mother gave me. Actually you couldn't say that was eating because I just swallowed everything. But technically it's eating.

I was ready.

We arrived at Hogwarts. I was the first time I had ever seen it and it was beautiful. I couldn't wait to turn eleven and finally receive my Hogwarts letter.

I ran to the big wooden door and knocked it.

"Open the doors!" I cried knocking the door like a little monster. "Tell the guards to open up the gates!"

"There are no guards here, dear" my mum said.

"I want to see Sirius!"

The doors opened suddenly. The figure of a tall old man started walking with elegance towards us.

"You must be Sirius parents" the old man asked.

"No, those are the Potters" my mum said smiling politely.

"How did you know we were looking for Sirius?" I nearly shouted at the man.

"Because you are really good at screaming" he said with a gentle smile.

"We are Andromeda and Ted Tonks"

"Oh. Yes. How could I forget? I apologize for my stupidness, ma'am. Sirius saved seats for you. By the way, you might remember me, Albus Dumbledore"

"And I am Dora Tonks!"

"What a beautiful name, Dora" he looked for something in his pocket. "here, have a cookie"

Dumbledore gave me a big chocolate cookie.

"Would you mind following me?"

I ate the cookie while I followed Dumbledore through the corridors to the grounds.

There was a magic ceiling that created a shadow for everyone to sit under it.

Maybe they could have done it inside Hogwarts but making the ceremony outside made it even more special.

We found our seats. They had our name on it:

The Potters

There was a stage in front of us. The stage was occupied by boys and girls who were nervously talking to each other. Albus Dumbledore stepped in front of them, everyone suddenly stopped talking.

"Today is a special day for everyone here" he started."especially for this young adults here"

I finally saw Sirius, he was smiling with confidence.

"But I don't want to bore all of us with a long speech" I made eye contact with him, he smiled. "So lets start"

He started calling every single girl and boy from the stage.

"SIRIUS!" I screamed and ran towards him.

"Dorito!" he raised and hugged me.

"Wotcher, Tonks"

"Wotcher, James!"

"Hi Tonks" said the redheaded Lily standing next to James.

"Lily!" I said as Sirius put me down. "Is it true?"

"What?"

"That you and James are finally together!" I nearly shouted that.

"How did you know about that?

"Everyone knows about you, Lily" a boy with light brown hair and green eyes was walking towards us.

"REMUS!" I shouted.

"Dora!" he said and raised me from the floor, he moved me in the air like if I was on a broom or something.

Suddenly the sky went dark but nobody seemed to notice.

"Remus" I was really scared. "what's happening?"

"I don't know."

Then something happened. Everyone went inside the castle like if nothing weird was happening. James kissing Lily on the cheek and Sirius saying something.

Remus looked at the sky. He put me back on the floor, knelt next to me me and held my hand.

"Run."

He stood up and looked at the sky again.

"What?! What's happening?!"

"Run!" he shouted. "Just run away from me!"

I started to walk away but still looking at him.

He started to change. In just one blink he turned from a really cute guy to a monster. He had fur all over his body. He still had ripped clothes on. He had big teeth. And his eyes were no longer green and beautiful. He was a wolf.

"Remus?! REMUS?!"

The beast looked at me and started running towards me.

I ran, ran as fast as I could but it wasn't enough. It was going to catch me.

Still, I kept running until I reached the lake.

The monster was a few inches away.

I jumped.

But I was only four and I couldn't swim. I couldn't touch the floor with me feet. The water covered my face. Everything went dark.

I woke up on my room at Grimmauld Place, sweating cold.

I sat on my bed and started breathing trying to calm down. I felt like if I had just came out of the lake.

"Remus." I said to myself.
