I couldn't help but feel the electrifying tension between us as my heart raced. I was acutely conscious of every movement of his arm against me and every look he directed at me. We had been together for hours tonight, and now that we were slowly returning to his car, it felt as though there was still something unsaid between us that was just waiting to happen.

Jungkook turned to face me as we got to the car, his hands disappearing into his jacket pockets. His eyes were warm and steady, and the way he gazed at me made her heart skip a beat.

His voice was calm as he said, "This was nice. I'm glad we did this."

I nod, unable to keep the smile off my face. "Me too. It's been... perfect, actually."

his lips curved into a soft smile, his lip piercing moving with them. For a moment, neither of us moved. The world around us seemed to grow still, as if the night itself was holding its breath, waiting for what would come next.

My pulse quickened as he took a small step closer. He was close enough now that I could feel the warmth radiating from him, close enough that I could see the faint blush creeping up his neck. my heart pounded in my chest, and my breath hitched as the air between them seemed to crackle with anticipation.

He hesitated, his eyes flickering between mine, as if searching for something. "Y/N," he began, his voice low, almost a whisper. "I've been wanting to do something all night, but I wasn't sure if—"

Before he could finish, I, feeling a surge of courage, closed the gap between us, my fingers lightly brushing against his hand. "What?" I asked softly, my voice trembling with a mixture of nervousness and excitement.

jungkooks breath caught as his hand turned over, his fingers lacing with mine. "This," he whispered.

And then, slowly, gently, he leaned down, his face just inches from mine. my heart felt like it might explode as I tilt my head up, their eyes locked, the moment stretching into eternity. And then, finally, his lips touched mine

The kiss was soft at first, tentative, like both of them were feeling their way into something new. But as i leaned into him, my free hand gently resting on his chest, the kiss deepened. my senses were filled with him—the warmth of his body, the faint scent of his cologne, the way his hand cupped her face so delicately as if I was something precious.

It felt like the world had melted away, leaving just the two of them in this perfect, quiet moment. There was no awkwardness, no hesitation, just the pure, exhilarating feeling of being so close to him, of finally sharing this moment we had both been waiting for.

When we finally pulled apart, our foreheads resting gently against each other, my breath was shaky, my heart still racing. Jungkook thumb traced a soft line along my cheek, his eyes full of something that made my knees weak..

With a smile tugging at my lips, i lay on my bed, ankles crossed with my phone held against my ear as i gazed up at the ceiling. Chohee voice crackled with impatience across the telephone.

"So?" Sounding like she was on the edge of her seat, she asked. "How did it go? Tell me everything, please!"

In an attempt to tamp down the butterflies from the previous day, I bit my lip. In a quiet voice, i noted, "It was... amazing."

I had to move the phone away from my ear due to her loud squealing. "Wow! I only get that? Go ahead, spill, girl! How far did you go? How did you proceed? Did he—?"

I laugh and replied, "Chohee, let me tell you! All right, so we visited the recently opened coffee shop on Main that I mentioned to you."

"Alright, nice beginning. And?" she gave the cue.

"We sat by the window, had coffee, and spoke for hours on end. It was so simple, you know? We were merely joking about and exchanging unrelated topics. Nothing about it was awkward." I grin as I recalled how at ease i had been with Jungkook. "And it was lovely that he payed. Before I could even dispute, he slipped his card in without making a huge issue out of it."

"Aww, nice move," she said with approval. "did he talk about the house?"

I gave a little chuckle. "Actually, yeah. We had some good laughs about it. when he asked whether I had gone back. "No way, I'm not going back there alone!" was my response. Then he said, "Yeah, it was fun because of us, but he wouldn't either."

"Oooh, 'us.'" she asks "It seems like a promising start. Was "us" the term he really used?"

I blush. "He did. Maybe it was more than simply the two of us hanging around, but I'm not sure, chohee. It's as if there was something more. Maybe he feels it as well."

A small sound of approval was made by her. "I was aware of it! Like I said, he liked you! And after that, what happened? Did you guys do anything else?"

I stop, thinking about the exact moment we left the coffee shop. "Yes, actually. We took a drive after coffee. We drove out to this lookout point because he claimed he wanted to show me where he goes to think. Chohee, it was breathtaking, a scene straight out of a movie. We stood staring out across the valley as the sun began to set. It was calm, but not in a bad way.

she gasped. "A sunset? Okay, that's ridiculously romantic. And?"

I hesitated, feeling a blush creep up my neck. "Well... we kind of kissed. again"

There was a brief pause before she screamed again. "Lizzie! You kissed again"

"yeah, it felt different then the last time. but there wasnt a risk of getting caught" I said

"did you fuck?" she asks

"oh my god Chohee!" i say "no, we didn't"

"are you gonna see him again?" she asked

"hopefully" i say "but idk when we will be able to"

"you better text him" she says

"i will"
