Entry 1 8/29/24
Well, I don't really know how to introduce my self properly as I'm not really a good writer. I was trying to think of many ways to make my introduction at least unique, but I guess a little greet and explanation will do. Hi! I'm Christine Heeler or formally known as Bluey. (Such a childish name right?) I live in Brisbane which is in Australia with a sister, mum, and dad. I usually like to use my imagination and creativity for drawing and I'm a determined actress for plays at my school. 2 months ago, I graduated year 6 and ever since then, I have been planning for year 7 as I'm going to a new school to get more advanced education. Now that I introduced myself, I should start talking about what's happening right now. Today is my favorite day, Fashion Fest! For explanation, fashion fest happens once a year as a way for my family and my cousin's family to get together to find the best fits for us so that we are properly ready for school. Fashion fest was my mum's idea, clear being inspired by dad's Stumpfest. Almost everybody likes it (including me) except for dad. Although mum and dad could always find at least one thing to agree upon on anything, Fashion fest has gotten dad a bit moody as he thought that mum was "Stealing his idea" and that stump fest was miles better than fashion fest. Even if he's a bit disappointed, he still tries his best to be supportive of fashion fest as that was mum's idea.
For this year's fashion fest, we're getting backpacks, sunglasses, purses for the mums, and hopefully haircuts if we have enough time for today. (I really want the unsymmetrical mullets on the sides of my head.) We'll be going at 9:03 in the morning. So that's all I have to say, I hope this year's fashion fest goes well!Christine closed her journal as she finished the last word of her entry. She grabs it and puts it in her drawer along side with many drawing supplies in it. She closes it as she hops out of her chair to meet with her family in the living room. She walks down the stairs in to the room where the family is sitting on the couches. Bingo was reading a comic she borrowed from the library, Chili was drinking her tea at the table, and Bandit was watching the tv with the remote beside him. The tv was playing ABC News as the newscaster was covering the back to school sales at the nearby mall.
"As of right now, most school supplies at the mall has had 30% of their prices lowered due to the ongoing back to school sales taking place. Supplies are expected to go back to their original price tomorrow so don't wait, get them now!"
The date caught Chili's attention,"Oh! How lucky! if Bingo didn't go through all that effort to make me change the date to be one day earlier, fashion fest would be ruined!" She said. Chilli gave a firm smile to Bingo with Bingo smiling back. Christine just looked with a numb expression, barely cracking a smile as she sat down. Bandit tried his best to look relieved, but he only made his mouth move up a little bit which isn't barely enough to make a smirk. He noticed the young Heeler sitting down and immediately asked her, "Hey Bluey- I mean Christine! Do you wanna watch tv?" Christine nodded with a quiet yes to get the remote. Before she grabbed it,
Knock, Knock, Knock.
Her cousin's dad Stripe was at the door. Bandit grabbed the remote to turn off the tv and got up immediately to open the door. "Hey Stripe, ready to endure this year's fashion fest?" Bandit asked. "Why would I not be? Of course! I just hope that Trixie and Chilli are quicker than last year. It was such a bore going through that experience." Stripe replied. "Yeah, just wait in your car. I'll get the family. Remind Trixie of group protocols before we get into our car." Bandit said before he turned back to his family, making eye contact with all of them before saying, "Come on everybody! You don't wanna miss this opportunity to be popular in school!" Thanks for reminding me honey! Come on kids, let's get fashion fest officially started!" Chili said. The family followed bandit into BoBo, the family car. When they were all seated and buckled, Bandit opened the window with stripe following as its part of group protocol. When both of their windows were open, Chili gave a thumbs up to Trixie as a sign to start driving.
