Leo immediately started dragging me in a random direction and he was walking so fast, I admittedly was struggling to keep up. His legs were a lot longer than mine, obviously, so every now and then I had to tug back to signal I'm catching my breath.
But instead of being a gentleman and slowing down he instead quickened his pace and the way he tugged me by my arm was starting to actually hurt. "God can you let go . I'm completely able to walk by myself, I'll have you know". He scoffed, "yeah but you're slow".
The arrogance was radiating from him and I was about to snap back but he abruptly stopped, causing me to slam into his back. "Oww, what's your back made of...metal. Why is it so flipping hard". He glanced back at me and then rolled his eyes before lowering himself and disappearing.
Honestly I started to think I'd gone insane and had ventured out here by myself because there was only silence for a little. However as I went to reach my arms out to see if Leo had maybe just sat on the floor, a rumble started and then these bright yellow lights flashed.
I'm such an idiot, he got into a car. In my defence it was a low down car which I'm not used to. It was definitely a classic, an expensive classic car but I couldn't for the life of me tell you what kind it was; I just knew it was definitely worth more than my life, which was hilarious initially, until the realisation sunk in and I realised that was so depressing.
He cracked his window open, rested his arm on the ledge and said, "well are you gonna get in, or are you gonna just gawk at it". The gall of him was incredible. "Actually, I promised your mum I wouldn't abandon your sister here. If I'd known you were taking me away from the premises I would have never followed you, or allow myself to be dragged by you even".
"Get in the car, now", he looked at me and I could notice how on edge he was from the way he gritted his teeth and how tightly his hand had gripped the wheel. "Okay but what about Gia, we can't just leave her". I genuinely didn't want to leave her alone, I knew Elio was there but I wouldn't trust that guy to look after an animal and he was slightly pissed.
"I've got our people watching and protecting her from afar, plus Elio is there. Even though he's an idiot, he'd never let anyone harm Gia when he's around, so can you relax". I felt like telling him he should take some of his own advice but there's a time and a place and that clearly wasn't now.
I rushed to the other side of the car and eagerly got in, excited and scared by whatever I was about to discover. In the back of my mind I'm just hoping this isn't some sort of prank or bullshit but from the way he was acting it clearly wasn't.
We sat in silence for the whole journey, so I took the time to take in the cars interior. It was incredible, it practically screamed elegance and money. From the black leather seats and the slightly tinted windows, I felt out of place to say the least. This car was Leo personified, it was ridiculous.
The car suddenly halted and Leo switched off the engine before muttering, "we're here". He swiftly got out of the car and started marching off without me. "Can you wait a minute, I don't know where I'm going obviously". He paused for a second as if he was going to slow down but then he continued on at the same pace, pretending he didn't hear a word of what I said.
"Fine, you prick", I whispered and I walked at my quickest pace, meaning I managed to catch up to him. He got out his car keys from his pocket and attached was another key. We reached this house down the end of the road, it wasn't massive but it clearly was worth some money since it was completely private from other houses and the exterior was insane, I'd even say better than the Morettis house personally. It felt more homey, that's what it was.
"Whose home is this, it's beautiful". Leo put that key from earlier into the door and turned it. The door creaked open and he muttered, "mine". He stepped in and held the door open but I couldn't move, my body was frozen and my mouth dropped. "Wh- what... how is this your house. I know you're rich but surely even you're too young", the words were not forming because I was so dumbfounded.
