KIDULT (SEVENTEEN FF)

Prologue

"Can you stop treating us like kids for fuck's sake?", Mingyu yelled.

The Hyung line of seventeen were shocked seeing the sudden outburst of the member who is known to be the most composed one.

"Mingyu watch your tone. You are talking to your hyung.", Wonwoo stepped in.

However Wonwoo also has been noticing the change in the behaviour of the maknaes of the team since last few weeks.

"Please I just can't keep up with this shit.", Mingyu replied not caring about what he was saying or doing.

"Actually Mingyu is right even I am tired of your constant calling when I am outside for a shooting.", Minghao said obviously getting frustrated from the continuous flights they were having with their hyungs.

"Don't you get that we are embarrassed whenever you treat us like kids when we are fucking in our mid 20s.", Seokmin who is the brightest, is talking back rudely to his hyungs.

"Even we don't need your relationship advice in each of our step. We are old enough to know it.", Vernon spoke up while he held Seungkwan's hands pulling him closer.

It was already late night but they were having an argument and about the youngest, he is not home yet.

Soon the main door opened and a frustrated Dino came outside. Anyone could say by seeing him that he was damn angry.

"Dino, why are you-"

Further Jeonghan could say anything, Dino showed him his palm shutting Jeonghan up.

"Stop!"

"Dino is that how we taught you to talk to your elders?", said Seungcheol raising his voice.

"Then what do you want me to do? Be happy when others make fun of me? Can't you get that I don't want to be treated like a kid for the last time?", Chan yelled.

Jeonghan flinched at the sudden outburst of the youngest.

"Dino!", Jeonghan said but it came out as a whisper.

He saw the youngest going upstairs, closing the door of his room roughly. Soon one by one the maknae line of Seventeen went into their respective rooms.

Jeonghan's eyes are still fixed at the ground, he can't understand where he went wrong that everything was turning upside down.

Meanwhile Seungcheol was super frustrated and couldn't understand what to do. From the past few weeks, the maknae line has been so aggressive and is not liking if any of their hyungs are being affectionate towards them or caring for them. They got into many fights for that reason. As Seungcheol ran a hand through his hair, he heard a thud. He turned behind, seeing Jeonghan was kneeling to the ground, crying while Joshua was hugging him from side, comforting him whose eyes were also brimming with tears.

"I just can't anymore.", said Jihoon while he sat down on the couch.

"Why can't they just understand we care for them?", said Wonwoo as he frustratedly sighed, closing his eyes tightly as his head was pounding with pain.

Jun and Hoshi looked at each other silently, questioning each other with their eyes and soon looked away not getting the answers they wanted.

"Whe-re did we go wr-ong Sh-ua?, cried Jeonghan.

"I don't know.", Joshua said somehow controlling his sobs.

"Are we actually being too much with them?", Jun finally let it out.

"But we just wanted to make sure they are safe and fine.", Seungcheol said with a sigh.

"They were never like that in their trainee days. They always liked our affection.", Jihoon said, massaging his temples as the pain in his head was pounding with each word he was saying.

"Did they fall out of love?", Hoshi said for the first time till now.

"Huh?", Jun was shocked hearing his bestfriend's statement.

"Please don't-", Jeonghan begged.

"But-"

Soonyoung could say further Seungcheol interrupted him.

"Let's go to bed. It's already late."

They all nodded and went towards their respective rooms. Seeing Jeonghan's condition, Joshua insisted to keep him in his room for the night.
