Recovery-I

"Dino? What happened to Dino?", The8 asked.

DK passed him the chit.

"Do you mean he is-", The8 said frantically.

"Yes.", DK nodded.

"But why? He looked totally fine."

"We might have missed something. But first we need to find him."

"How?"

"We just need to know where he is mostly at or where he possibly could go."

"Do you think we can find him then?"

"I hope so."

"Let's inform others first."

DK nodded and went towards his room to get Shua who was whining then.

"Whene wore u?"*where were you?*

"I had some work Shua."

For which the toddler pouted and looked at him. DK smiled and squished his cheeks, picking him up in his arms and headed towards the leaving room.

Reaching downstairs DK saw Mingyu feeding Wonu and Cheollie. Both of them were giggling while eating.

Soon Mingyu finished feeding them and cleaned both of their faces and hands with wet wipes and turned around to wash the dirty dishes. He had just completed washing them, a hand patted on his shoulder. He turned back to find DK standing there. He looked anything but normal. His eyes contained a glimpse of fear. His breathing was fast, like his heartbeat got fast too. Worry was evident on his face but tried to keep himself calm.

"Is something wrong?"

"Actually-"

Then DK explained everything to Mingyu.

"What?"

"Mingyu hyung, what happened to Dino?, Seungkwan entered with concern written on his face, with a fuzzy Hoonie in his arms who was forced to wake up.

"Don't worry I am calling our manager."

He was calling their manager when a loud wail was heard across the kitchen.

"Isn't the sound coming from Dino's room?"

"Oh no! Hannie.

He opened the door and saw Hannie crying, sitting on the bed.

"Hannie."

"Nwo donch twouch Hannie. Onwy Chan twouch Hannie."

"Please Hannie come to me."

"Nwo nwo."

"Please Hannie. Look Shua is also here. Please come to me."

Hannie blinked slowly and looked at Shua and then at DK and let DK pick him up from the corner of the bed

As soon as he picked up Hannie, Hannie hugged DK's neck and started crying.

"I wan Chan. Hannie wan Chan."

"Yes Hannie we will bring Chan back. Now don't cry."

Soon Hannie calmed down but still kept his head on DK's shoulder sniffing. DK came down with Shua and Hannie in his arms.

"Mingyu feed Hannie and others. I will get the car."

DK handed him both of the toddlers and went out.

"Don't cry Hannie."

"Wan Chan."

"Yes baby. Chan will be here so soon. So you need to eat a lot. So you can play with him a lot."

Soon all of them fed the kids and went with their respective cars.

DK, The8 and Mingyu with the three toddlers and Junnie and Wonie were in one car and Seungkwan and Vernon with Soonie and Hoonie were in one car. They called their 3 managers to take the kids from them but they decided not to give the toddlers to them.

Soon they reached HYBE where the managers were waiting for them. They gave away the kids and Seungkwan and Vernon also decided to stay behind with them as it was obviously hard for them to take care of the four kids when the kids are usually not friendly with other people than seventeen's maknae line.

Then the 97z rushed towards their recording room, then at the set where going seventeen is usually recorded and at last they went to their practice room and so much of their surprise, Dino was not there too. Then they remembered they had a second practice room too which was a bit smaller than that one. So they rushed towards that practice room.

Arriving infront of the door, Mingyu tried to open the door but the door was locked. So The8 ran to get a spare card from the ground floor to swipe to open the door. For the first time 10 minutes felt so long. When the door opened the scene they saw made them dumbstruck.

Dino was lying lifelessly in the middle of the room. He was shirtless, his whole body had multiple cuts, some of which turned brown and some were still red and swollen. And to their most surprise a white sticky foam like substance flowed down his mouth.

Seeing the scene they immediately covered the kids' eyes. Mingyu handed Cheollie to The8 who has already Hannie in his lap. Mingyu told The8 to stay away from the room and call an ambulance. The8 obliged to his order and went out with the two toddlers. And for Shua even the god or satan can't seperate him from DK. He still clinged onto DK not leaving him so DK took off his jacket covering him to block his vision.

Mingyu crouched down near Dino and placed his hand under Dino's nose trembling, checking if he's breathing. And fortunately he was breathing even if it was very faint and shallow. Soon the ambulance came and paramedics barged in checking Dino's vitals. The anticipation grew in the 97z as the paramedics worked. Soon Dino was taken inside the ambulance while Mingyu assisted him and The8 and DK went in their car driving off, following the ambulance from behind.

As soon as they reached hospital, Dino was taken in the operation theatre as the paramedics identified, he had taken poison to end his life. His lips turned into a lighter shade of blue and his face so pale. The colour of his body faded as if the soul inside him was taken out.

The 97z sat outside the operation theatre in the chairs fixed in the corridor. Hannie was already fast asleep in The8's lap due to so much crying. Dried tears were evident in his cheeks as his cheeks turned red showing how much he cried. The8 hugged the toddler protectively.

'Dino I know you can do it. You are stronger than you think. We all are proud of you. Just don't give up. Please.'

Cheollie was playing with the mesh of Mingyu's top, slightly sucking onto it. Mingyu immediately took out the hem of his shirt from his mouth making Cheollie whine. Mingyu immediately gave him his feeding bottle filled with orange juice. He immediately started sucking onto the nipple of the bottle drinking the juice. Mingyu, on the other hand, hugged Cheollie lightly, feeling scared and anxious for their maknae.

'Dino you need to fight. You have to come back for us, for your dreams, for Hannie, for Seventeen.', Mingyu prayed in his mind.

DK kept walking back and forth in the corridor with Shua in his arms who was constantly looking at him with his doe eyes. DK felt little pushing in his chest, DK looked down...

"Feeing dizgy." 'Feeling dizzy.'

"Oh I am sorry baby."

DK also sat with the 97z while Shua kept his head on his chest. DK hugged the toddler and looked up saying in his mind...

'Dino please recover fast. It's not same here without you anymore. We miss you. Please recover fast.'
