Recovery-II

It's midnight but the 97z are wide awake standing infront of the big glass window looking after Dino. There are multiple wires attached to his body, oxygen mask helping him to breathe. Monitors were all around him.

They were standing there when suddenly Dino's chest started to heave up and down abruptly, like he was having difficulty in breathing.

They immediately called the doctor.

Soon doctors and nurses rushed to the room.

"He's crashing."

"His pulse is weak. He is having a cardiac arrest."

"Start compression now."

One of the doctors started compressions.

"He is not responding."

His heart rate was dropping.

"Prepare the defibrillator."

"Ok...1...2...3... go."

Dino's body jolted up.

"No pulse."

"Again 1...2...3...go."

Dino's body again jolted up with the electric shock.

"No pulse again."

"Don't give up... Again 1...2...3...go."

Dino's body jolted up while his eyes wide opened too before they were closed again and he fell on the bed.

"We have got a pulse."

"Okay keep monitoring him."

The doctors came out and looked at the 97z standing there with questions over their face.

The doctor started with a sigh,"I know it's tough to accept the fact that he's been self-harming for a long time. His body has so many cuts and bruises. It looks like he's been forced to work under mental pressure. We have found bluish bruises on his neck too. It seems someone tried to choke him. Do you know anything about it?"

They looked at each other cluelessly.

"I guess no. Well He has passed the critical stage but his body is so weak. The poison could have damaged his body internally if you guys were a late even for a minute. But he's okay now. We are keeping him under our surveillance. I hope he gets his conscious back soon. That's all. I will take my leave."

As soon as the doctor left The8 kneeled down infront of the door crying hard.

"The8!", DK softly spoke.

"We couldn't protect him. We can never be a good elder brother for him. We let him down.", he stated, crying.

"Don't blame yourself. We all should be blamed. We couldn't notice how much he was suffering.", DK stated calming him, while he hugged the younger.

The night went like that.

Next morning when The8 woke up and found both Mingyu and DK were not there except Seungkwan and Vernon were present with Soonie. Seungkwan was trying to feed Hannie and Cheollie who were sitting on the chairs being upset and somehow eating the food slowly. As if they knew what was going on.

But the question is where are Mingyu and DK?

"Where are they?", The8 asked, yawning.

"Mingyu hyung and DK Hyung went to the company for some work.", Seungkwan spoke while feeding the two toddlers.

"Ouh- how is everything going in home?", he asked again.

"Not so bad. Our three managers are working their ass off."
