Regret-II

After 3 hours when Cheollie woke up and both DK and Dino both tried to feed him he denied the food crying loud. On the other hand The8 who was blaming himself started crying kneeling down infront of the door of Mingyu's ward when suddenly the doctor came out and informed, "He is awake you can meet him now."

Hearing it The8 stood still in his place not knowing what to do. Dino and DK entered the ward and when The8 was about to enter he felt a sudden pull in his jeans and stopped on his track. He looked down to find Cheollie looking at him with a frown on, his eyes were teary and glossy while he was pouting like he was angry.

"You nwo go two Minwo. You hwate Minwo.", he said.

The sentence broke him like a mirror while he stared at the kid.

'He is right I don't deserve to meet him. I don't deserve his forgiveness.', The8 thought.

"Cheollie you shouldn't say anything like that-", further DK could say more The8 shushed him.

"Hyung!", Dino exclaimed.

"I'll be alright you should go.", The8 spoke.

"The8 but-", DK tried to convince him.

"I'll be okay.", he reassured them.

DK sighed and left from there while The8 sat on one of the chairs in corridor.

"Minwo..... Minwo...... Minwo.....", he cried while he made grabby hands towards Mingyu.

Mingyu smiled at the toddler while he leaned on the backrest of the bed. DK gave him to Mingyu. As soon as he went to his lap he hugged him like a Koala crying out loud.

"I'm here now why are you crying?", he said while he placed a kiss on the top of his hair while he caressed his silky hair. Cheollie looked up while big thick tears were rolling down his little not-so chubby cheeks. Mingyu smiled and gently wiped his tears with his thumb. Cheollie again snuggled into his chest. It felt like the time stood still while Mingyu patted his back slowly and lightly. Suddenly he heard a growling sound and looked down to find Cheollie looking at him giggling.

"I guess we need to fill your this little tummy of yours.", Mingyu spoke smiling.

"Dino go take him out and these two troublemakers too.", DK said while pinching both of Hannie and Shua's cheeks.

Dino picked Cheollie up from Mingyu and marched outside before he could whine about being parted from Mingyu while the other two toddlers trailed behind him.

"Mingyu!", DK spoke.

"Hmm.",  Mingyu responded

"How are you feeling now?"

"Better."

"Are you stressed or something?"

"Hmm-why?"

"The doctor said so, that's why I am asking. We are always here for you. Just take it slow, y'know."

"DK!"

"Hmm."

"How is Minghao doing?"

"Why don't you ask him by yourself?", DK smiled and went out and brought The8 in.

"The8!", Mingyu exclaimed, "How are you?", he added.

Hearing his voice, he felt the guilt hitting him like tons of bricks while tears rolled down. DK side-hugged him.

"Hey man look up.", DK said trying to cheer up.

"Why are you crying? Come here.", Mingyu asked.

As soon as Mingyu said that he quickly hugged him as he sat on the bed.
