"Are you almost ready?" I heard one of the stage workers say to me, I look up, giving the old man a nod.

"Good, you need to be on set in five." He said with a small smile, giving him a thumps up.

He closed my dressing room door, and I let out a sigh. It's the first day on set for the new movie we're flinging.

With Juliet being the director, she chased me out of bed early this morning just to make sure I'm not late, and on top of that, I got the biggest shock of my life this morning when I saw that Serena is in charge of the camera crew.

I didn't expect to see her here, that she works here, but it kinda makes sense now that she and Juliet are best friends since they work together for years now.

But the one thing I dread is Aiden, I don't want to see him, much less be in the same building as him. I don't know but every time I'm around him I get this bad vibe from him, and my gut feeling is always right.

I stood up from my chair, going out of my dressing room, walking down the hall to the set.

I saw Juliet sitting in her director chair, a few papers in her hand that she's currently reading. I smirk and walked towards her, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

She looks up startled, giving me a small glare when she saw it was me. "Don't do that." She whispered and I chuckled. I can feel a few people's eyes on us.

I mean it was globally announced that we're married, I guess now we'll have to show them as well.

I took a seat next to her, grabbing her left hand in mine and intertwined our fingers. This morning I was shocked that Juliet didn't mention something about last night, I thought she might remember that she asked me to kiss her but I guess not.

But I think she does, because I caught her this morning staring at my lips. But I'm not going to pressure her to talk about it, she can come to me if she really wants to start something real between us.

The movie that we're shooting is about a secret agent being in love with an assassin, none of them knows that their have to kill each other, Aiden being the agent, and an other actor Kira Xavier being the assassin. They fell in love and then when they find out that they have to kill each other, well I didn't read that far into the script.

I'm too lazy.

"What stunts are I'm going to do today?" I asked Juliet after a while of silence between us.

"Just a few jumps from building to building." She answered and I hummed.

"It's going to be green screened right." I asked her, a little bit worried for my safety.

She let out a small laugh. "Of course it's green screened, Carter, I'm not going to let you really jump from building to building, do you think I'm that crazy." She asked me with an amused glint in her eyes.

I swallowed the lump in my throat, all the past memories resurfacing into my head. "No, I guess not." I said quietly, her eyes narrowed at my sad mood, but she doesn't say anything else.

A few years I did a few stunts for this one actor, and they didn't use any green screen or any ropes for my safety, no I had to do that shit in real life. I'm surprised Juliet didn't read my accident in the news, but it's better this way, I want to forget about that day of the accident.

"Did you have a headache this morning?" I asked Juliet, changing the subject. She hummed, squeezing my hand.

"Yes, thank you for the Advil you left me on the nightstand." I gave her a grin. "You're welcome."

I wanted to ask her if she can remember what she asked me last night in the club's parking lot but I hold back, biting my bottom lip.

Then I saw Aiden walking into the set, I rolled my eyes at him, he goes straight to Kira, I can see his flirting with her, and then now and then he'll look into Juliet's direction.

Is he...is he really trying to make Juliet jealous right now, I look at Juliet, seeing she's deeply invested in the papers in front of her.

I hold back a snort, biting my inner cheek, there is something seriously wrong with him, poor Kira, I'll warm her later about him, I thought to myself.

"Alright everybody, get in place!" I jumped a little bit, not expecting Juliet to yell right next to my damn ear.

She gave me a little smirk. "I'll talk to you later." She gave me a kiss on the cheek, and I blush, looking as she walked away.

Such a damn tease.
