I sat in the booth, Camila on the opposite side of me, we decided to have brunch before both our schedules got too busy.

"Have you decided to take the offer or not?" She questioned me with a curious look.

I sigh, taking a sip of my ice coffee. "Yes, I mean, it's going to be fun to do stunts in this Hollywood movie, I mean you know how much I like action, and—"

"Yeah, yeah, I know how much you love to do your crazy ass stunts." She cuts me off with a smile. "Which is also dangerous by the way." She added.

I grin sheepishly at her. "I just don't know why Aiden has to be one of the main characters, I mean I'm his stuntwoman, I can't believe they chose a woman to do his stunts." I said with a frown, I mean I know me and Aiden is similar build, but why me?

"I don't know, maybe the universe hates you." She deadpans and I groan, running my hand through my hair.

"Also, Serena said we're going to go and club tonight, so make sure your lazy ass is there, with your wife of course." She said, giving me a playful wink. 

I gave her an unamused look. "Sure, like Juliet would let me boss her around." I said dryly.

"Whatever, just make sure that you guys are there, it should be fun, I can't remember the last time we were at a club." Camila said with a raised brow.

"Fine I'll tell her, but if she doesn't want to come, then she doesn't." I said, shrugging and she hummed.

"But tell me, what's going on between you and Serena?" I asked her with a smirk.

"She's been flirting with you none stop." She blushed, biting her bottom lip.

"I don't know, she flirts and shows me that she's interested in me, but I get the vibe from her that she flirts with everyone, and if I start something with her, I want to make sure it's serious, not just a fling." She said seriously and I nodded my head, understanding where she's coming from.

Serena is a total flirt, you never know when she's serious with you or not, so I can understand why Camila is so careful around her.

"Well, talk to her, or else you'll never know, Cam." I said softly and she nodded with a small smile.

"I will thanks Carty."

"I didn't think you would say yes." Juliet shot me a weird look. "Why would I say no to a few drinks?" She asked with a raised brow.

I shrugged, plopping down on the couch. "I don't know, you don't seem like the type to go to clubs." She chuckled softly, and weirdly that little laugh made me feel butterflies in my stomach.

"Then you clearly don't know me." She said with a small smirk.

I hummed, looking around the living room. "Why don't you have a dog or a cat?" I ask her and she sighs, taking a sip of her water.

"I don't have the time to look after a dog or a cat." She said simply and I gave her a little sly smile.

"Can we get a border collie." She groans, shaking her head. "No, who will take care of it, we both have very demanding jobs." She said and I sigh, knowing she's right.

"Fine." I huff and she gave me an amused look. "Don't tell me that you're mad about me not getting you a dog." She said with a teasing tone and I shoot her a glare.

"I'm not mad." I said defensively, she hummed, shaking her head at my tone.

"Well I'm going to get ready for tonight." She stood up from the couch, pinching my cheek as she walked past me.

"Ow!" I rubbed my cheek she pinched hard.

"What was that for!" I yelled after her.

"Stop being such a baby!" She yelled back.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not a baby." I muttered under my breath.

"Sure, if that makes you sleep at night." She whispered suddenly in my ear, making jump.

"What the fuck!" She laughed, pulling away.

"Go and get ready, I'm not going to wait for you if you're not going to be ready on time." She said sternly, walking out of the living room.

"So damn bossy." I mumble under my breath.

"What was that!"

"Nothing!"
