CHRISTMAS 2025 WAS SOMETHING MANON KNEW SHE WAS EXCITED FOR.
She and Sam got ready for the lovely Sandringham Walk, where they'd meet Aurelie, Colby and Maddy. They decided to go yearly as a little tradition and share gifts there.
"You look amazing," Sam grinned when he saw Manon. She shook her head laughing, he complimented her every chance he got.
"We should get going," she replied, throwing on a beanie over her head. "We'll miss the royals if we don't."
Sam nodded and held the door open as they exited the house, ready to drive to the Walk.
"Hey!" Aurelie embraced her sister. "We thought you'd miss it."
"Not for the world, this is going to be so fun," Manon said with a giggle, rubbing her hands together. "Maddy!"
"Manon!" Maddy threw her arms around the girl. "Come on, let's get a spot!"
The group sat down and shared the gifts, laughing and talking. People around them gave them a glance but the group of adults didn't really care. Christmas was for giving and joy.
As Manon looked around at her friends and family, she realised that at that moment 1 year beforehand, she had still been discovering what she was going to do with her life.
But now, sitting down the next year, she knew. She knew where she was going to live, what she was doing.
