It has been a week since Fan Fei was exiled from K'un-Lun and she has been slowly recovering from the events, beings beside her master helping her in her endeavour as he had increased the training that he is giving her as it is giving her the much needed distraction, but he knew that the events are still in her mind.
And he can see it because her techniques are a bit sloppy while also being more rage filled. Even if she is trying to hide it he can see it in her eyes, her chi and her fighting style as she is doing the training.
Then he grabbed her fist, pulled her to him, blocked her right kick with his leg and raised her and slammed the on the ground on her back as she gasped before she freed her arm and then sent a barrage of kicks at him which he dodged quite easily before he grabbed her ankle and pulled her and kicked her stomach, knocking the wind out of her as she was sent flying back.
She corrected herself and stood up as she charged her chi in her fists and shot towards him as she reached him in a second and started to dish out attacks again, but they didn't connect as Michael was calmly redirecting her hits which frustrated her more.
She then sent an extremely powerful attack towards him but he just redirected it to the ground causing her to punch it and create a large crater due to it. Michael had already jumped up after he had redirected the attack as she became unbalanced due to the destruction of the ground.
And then she was slammed on the ground head first as she gasped in pain as he let go of her head and stood a few metres away from her in a relaxed pose. Fan Fei growled lightly as she stood back up and glared at her master, but her eyes widened when she realised that she is glaring at him and also when she saw that he wasn't in a fighting stance.
"We will stop this training now." Michael said to her much to her shock.
"But Master! I can still go on!" Fan Fei shouted in indignation at his words.
"Training is done for today." Michael said in a tone of finality before he turned around and walked away from the crater.
Fan Fei looked at him in shock when she heard that before she became angry and her eyes glowed with chi as she dashed towards him and sent an iron fist at him. But Michael simply dodged her attack and grabbed her wrist and easily put her in a lock as she was forced to kneel.
"Since when did you attack your Master?" Michael asked her in a calm tone as she looked at him.
She froze when she saw his face as he is looking at her with indifferent eyes as she realised what she had done. The chi in her eyes dissipated along with the one in her fist before he let go of her hand.
"I'm sorry Master... I..." Fan Fei said as she looked down, ashamed at what she had just done.
Michael looked at her for a few seconds before he sighed and then rubbed her head. She flinched a bit but feeling that he wasn't hostile, she looked at him as she was greeted with his smiling face.
"I know why you got angry Fan Fei, that is why I had decided to increase your training so that you can vent out your frustrations. But that doesn't mean that I will just let you forget your lessons so quickly that you fight like a savage, without any skill or precision." Michael said to her calmly before he slowly pulled her up.
Fan Fei rubbed her right arm as she nodded to his words as he smiled at her kindly.
"I'm not saying that anger is a bad thing. Used correctly, it will be a source of strength, so long as you are able to control and direct that anger. Instead of letting your anger control you, you must instead control it for your benefit." Michael said to her calmly as he walked forward as she followed behind him.
