~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was a late night in Seoul. But no nights were actually late, at least not in Hongdae—one of the famous club areas in Seoul. Where Felix happened to find himself on this night, drinking wasn't something he did often, well, not until recently.
He's been struggling; just having a hard time overall with work and relationships. He figured the best way to get over the pain would be to forget. It's definitely the wrong way to go about it, but it's been working for him.
He sat at the bar much like he'd done for the past week. Just sulking, never actually in a parting mood. He asked the bartender to fix him a drink. He wasn't the best drinker; he never could hold alcohol well. So he always insisted on drinking light. But today felt different; the day felt heavier on him. So, against his better judgment, he asked for something stronger.
He knew it was a bad idea; he knew how he got after too many drinks. But at this point, he didn't care anymore. "Fucking regret it tomorrow," he laughed as he picked up the glass and took the shot.
A little into the night, Felix was roughly on his third shot of the night. He wasn't exactly drunk yet, but his low tolerance was quickly bringing him to that state. He finished off the last of his current drinks and asked the bartender for another. "Thank you," he smiled as he picked up the glass and brought it to his lips. He turned to the soft touch on his shoulder. A short individual approached, standing behind him.
"Hi," he gently waved with a smile as he turned to a girl in a tight-fitted black satin dress with matching black laced heels. She had long blonde hair and bangs that covered just above her eyes.
"You wanna dance," she uttered loudly as she reached out for his hand.
Felix hesitated for a quick second before a slight smirk creased his lips. He was in a bad mood, yes, but he also desperately wanted to forget; I mean, he might as well. He nodded his head as he placed his hand in hers and followed her to the dance floor.
The two danced for a few songs, met some of her friends, and honestly, he had a good time. It's probably the most fun he's had in a while. He laughed as he went back to his spot at the bar.
He picked up the drink he'd left behind and took a sip, finishing it off and eagerly buying another. After around five shots plus whatever small drink he bought as a solvent, he started to feel dizzy.
Which, of course, was typical for people who have been drinking. But this feeling was different, something he hadn't felt before. He started spacing out and losing his consciousness, involuntarily fading in and out. The last thing he hazily remembered from that night was someone with a soft voice offering to help him; it felt almost familiar. Then everything went black.
The next thing he knew, he was waking up with the most excruciating painful headache. He spread his arms out in a relatively big bed. "What the fuck!" He softly yelled as he jumped up, realizing he wasn't in his house. He was in someone else's room. The fear only increased when he brushed his hand against his chest, realizing he was shirtless.
A darkly dimed room with a big bed with silk sheets, shirtless, and no memory. He can feel himself start to panic. His heart rate gradually started to increase as he tried to look around the room for his shirt with no luck.
He hated himself as slow tears slid down his cheek. Constantly beating himself up for how stupid he could be to let something like this happen. He didn't exactly know what happened, but you could almost assume where his mind dreadfully wondered— expecting the worst.
Amid his search, his eyes squinted at the sudden blast of light. He reflexively raised his hands to his face, blocking the light from his eyes. He felt his heart sink when he saw a glimpse of a person in the doorway.
"Oh, you're awake," the figure said, quickly turning the lights back off. "I'm sorry," the voice softly whispered as Felix reopened his eyes.
Felix couldn't make out his face in the dark, but the light behind him showed him his figure. An AVERAGE HIGHT MAN. Stood in the doorframe holding what was probably a glass of water. But Felix's panicked mind couldn't be sure of anything at the moment.
"D-Don't come near me," Felix shakingly said as he cowardly moved back towards the headboard at the figure's sudden movement towards him. "Why am I here??" he asked, still cowering as far as he could from him. "W-What did you do to me??" his voice still shaken, tears taking over his face.
"What did I do?? I didn't do anything."
"So why am I here, and where the hell is my shirt?" Felix confusedly yelled at him. The man continued to walk closer to the bed, only scaring Felix more.
"I swear I'll fucking kill you," Felix yelled, but there wasn't an ounce of intimidation in his voice.
"Yeah, sure you will," he laughed, still approaching the bed, stopping at the end. "I'm the one that saved your scrawny ass, and I have aspirin; I bet you have a headache," he scoffed as he raised the pill bottle to him. He did, a really bad one, in fact. But he didn't want to concede to him. Whoever he was.
"And my shirt," he continued to ask.
"It's sitting in that chair," the man pointed to the chair next to the bed. Felix looked over to the chair as if he could see; the room still being dark.
"Why am I not wearing it??"
"You seriously don't remember," he laughed at him.
"Remember what??" Felix furrowed his eyebrows at him.
