~Chapter 3~

*Back to where we left off with Changbin and Felix*

"Oh shit," Felix softly muttered to himself. He was running through so many emotions at this point, embarrassment for sure. But he also felt like such a burden on this poor man, and on top of that, he was so rude to him when all he did was save him. He had took the aspirin from the man and taken it. He no longer felt like he was in danger after hearing his story.

"I'm sorry you had to go through so much..and because of me," he apologetically said.

"No need to apologize, really," Changbin replied with a soft smile; he was now sitting on the edge of the bed. "Can you finally tell me your name??" The one thing he's been begging to know about him.

"Oh yeah, it's Felix," he laughed.

"Felix??"

"I'm from Australia,"

"Oh well, I'm Changbin. Welcome to my home, I guess," he shyly said, gesturing his arm around the room.

"Yeah, it's..nice," Felix laughed as he looked around the still darken room, but more consciously taking in the outlines of the features. It was a really big room.

"I'm really sorry..really sorry for bringing you here. It was honestly all I could think of doing at the moment; I knew I needed to get you out of there, and you were unable to give me your name–"

There were so many emotions, not only the embarrassment and feeling of being a burden but also some sort of flutter in his stomach. Here's a man who didn't know him but decided to help him anyway, saved him, gave him a place to sober up—and held him in his arms when he asked. A man who was interested in him way before he needed to be saved. A man who didn't know him but put his life on the line for him. who cared for him.

"–I would never want to hurt you or try to force you into anything; genuinely, I just wanted to help you," Changbin finished his desperate rant, hoping he understood his sincerity.

"Thank you," Felix softly said, smiling at him. Changbin returned the smile, taking a deep breath. He was really worried he wouldn't.

"Are you okay if I turn the light on now??" he asked as he stood from the bed and walked over to the switch by the door. Felix hummed to him with a slight nod. His eyes flinched again, but he quickly adjusted to the light now that he was more responsive.

"Are you hungry?? I could make something or we can ord—" he paused as he turned back to face Felix. His eyes widened, and his ears instantly tinted red, growing speechless at the sight of him. He had only seen him last night in the dark. "Ahem," he cleared his throat, shyly taking his eyes off him, fearing he was staring too long at his chest.

"Oh shit, my shirt. I'm sorry," Felix quickly said, crossing over the bed to pick up his shirt and put it back on, equally growing embarrassed as he looked back at Changbin, standing awkwardly by the door. Felix shyly stared back at him; neither knew what to say or do.

"Um..I-I could eat," Felix nervously laughed.

"Yeah, okay..um, I'll be in the kitchen; it's just down this hall," Changbin nervously laughed back, quickly turning and leaving the room and closing the door behind him.

"Stupid," Felix sighed, smacking his hand against his head. Of course, he embarrassed himself in front of the cute guy who had saved him. He took a deep breath, relaxing his body as he sat by himself a little before joining the other, still trying to wrap his head around the night before.
