As expected, all of my friends, especially Rose, insisted on helping out with the surprise party we're organising for Damian. Okay, not a party, a 'get-together'. His pack is already organising a big event for him and his brother, so we'll make sure this one is a little smaller and more relaxed.

After brainstorming a little in school, we spent the rest of our day running to the store, well it wouldn't have taken as long if we didn't get distracted every two seconds, but really, we had a lot of fun.

After dropping the rest off, it doesn't take long for me and Rose to finish baking a bunch of sweet treats, putting them in the extra fridge in the garage before Manuel gets home. He spent the afternoon 'distracting' Damian, so we had the kitchen to ourselves.

Rose just turned off our music when I hear the doorbell and rush toward the hallway. Manuel, Zach, Elijah and Benjamin greet me before rushing past me, talking about unboxing some kind of thing they bought. Finally, I'm met with Damian, instead of joining his friends, he picks me up as if I weigh nothing and twirls me around like a little girl.

"There you are, precious. I missed you so much." He whines as he puts me down, still with his hands on my hips.

"We saw each other in school just a few hours ago." I laugh, leaning into his touch.

"I know, painfully long ago." He smirks as he leans closer, kissing my forehead, then my cheeks, nose and finally my lips.

"Come on, buttercup, maybe they'll share."

I look at him suspiciously. "Share what?"

"You did not... How expensive was this shit even?" I hear Rose say before we enter the living room. The three boys are sitting around the coffee table as my friend stands next to them with her arms crossed.

"How much was it? Like, 600 bucks?" Elijah laughs.

"Okay, well, I didn't actually pay that much. Perks of your parents owning the store." Manuel says, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Oh, shut up, you sound like a rich-bitch." I say as we enter.

"Yeah, yeah, just let me happy with my new set." Manuel says. He looks up at me, his gaze going to Damian's arm around my body, apparently deciding to not say anything about it as he opens the huge box.

An Avengers Lego set.

He will never grow out of this, will he? I'm convinced he'll be the type of guy who has a Lego Star Wars set on display in his living room.

Not that I really mind, I mean, come on. Not secretly liking Lego is a huge red flag, that's why seeing Damian's eyes light up as he squats down is kind of a relief. Even werewolves can enjoy the toys.

We all get building as the movies play in the background. After a while we're all just lying on the couch, only a small part of the building done. I'm resting my head on Damian's chest as he has his arms wrapped around my waist, my legs resting sideways over his.

"Hey, idiot." Manuel says, getting up.

Automatically, I react to the nickname. "What?"

He grins at me. "Come help me out in the kitchen."

Damian's embrace tightens slightly before he sits up. "I'll help."

"No, you stay, you're a guest here." Manuel responds.

"He's right." I tell Damian as I press a kiss to his cheeks. "But thanks for offering."

I follow my brother into the kitchen. "Go distract Damian, we need to talk about tomorrow with Benjamin." He whispers.
