What Hiccup and Astrid didn't know was that the basketball practice was already planned. I didn't want to go with them so that I could watch them be all lovey-dovey, so I decided to get ready for the start of school. To get ready, I packed my backpack with the first day materials: a few notebooks, some pencils, and my favorite pen. To get the tip to come out you had to twist the part that looked like the cover. I like it so much because when I bored in class, I can endlessly twist the pen. Once I packed those things, I hung my backpack in the closet. From there, I jumped onto my bed and grabbed the remote. I flipped through the channels and found nothing of interest so I shut it off.

With the tv off, the room was so quiet, and it never was. Hiccup was always singing or tapping his pencil as he studied. To get rid of the deadly silence, I picked up my basketball off the side table and started tossing it up in the air to myself.

After a few minutes of the endless game of catch, I heard some rattling of the door handle. I knew it wasn't Hiccup because he always knocked first.

I got up, leaving the basketball on the bed, and headed to the door. I peered through the peek-hole to see who it was. I didn't know anyone that had platinum-blond hair so I opened the door slowly.

As I did so, the person behind the door gasped and ducked her head to avoid making eye contact.

I'd never seen her before so I introduced myself. "Hi there. I'm Jackson, but you can call me Jack." I left that in the air to see if there was a response. But when nothing was said, I continued. "You know you can just knock and I'll answer," I joked with a laugh.

With that she looked up, her face still filled with embarrassment. Her bright blue eyes sparkled as she fearfully whispered "I'm so sorry. I thought that this was my room." Her voice trailed off and she turned to walk away.

But I stopped her. "Hey, don't worry about it," I responded in an assuring voice. "Are you new here?" She smiled and nodded. "Can I show you to your room?" I asked. Again she nodded and handed me the key.

She was on the right floor, but she had the wrong room number. I board in room 312. This key was to room 321, just a little mix up.

We walked slowly down the hallway as she looked at all the painting hung on the wall. She stopped to admire one painting. I decided to break the silence.

"So, I never really got your name?..." I questioned gently.

"M-m-my name?" She paused as if she had to think about it. "My name's... Elsa."

Elsa? What I beautiful name. I thought. "So Elsa, do you know anyone here?" I asked.

"Yeah." She responded without hesitation. My sister boards here too. She's a sophomore, I'm a junior."

She started walking again and we continued in silence until we got to her room. I handed back her key and she slipped it in the door and it popped open.

It was dark inside, but the hallway light filled the room just enough to see. Inside was another girl with strawberry-blonde hair. They looked like sisters.

Elsa introduced us. "Jack, this is Anna."

Anna?! "I know Anna! We've been friends since, well, since she came here."

"Really?" Elsa questioned.

"Yeah," Anna added. "We've got a good group of friends. You should meet them!" Anna exclaimed with excitement.

"Uh... I don't know about that," Elsa hesitated. "I think I want to settle in a little first, before I meet too many people."

"That's ok. Whenever you want to meet them, just let me or Anna know. I'm sure you'll like them. If you need anything, just ask. You know where my room is." I gave a smile and a little laugh. Then I turned and left the room, closing the door behind me.

As I left the girls' room, my mind was racing about all of Elsa. Her hair was so blond that it was white. Those blue eyes kept your eyes locked for the longest time. And her blue dress that caught your attention and didn't let go.

Although I prefer darker blue clothing, her dress looked great! And the way she hid when I came to the door was so cute.

Wait. Cute!? I...I like Elsa? Granted I don't know her but I feel like I do. I feel like I've seen her before - maybe when she was younger...

Before I was able to go to school, I practically roamed the world. I had no specific work to do. That was until the Easter Kangaroo came and captured me in a sack and I arrived at North's workshop. After that whole story and defeating Pitch, I became a guardian.

North, Bunny, Tooth, and Sandy all had to go through the same things as me. They were chosen by the man in the moon and they had to prove themselves like I did. Afterwards, where I am now, they had to attend school.

But during my fight against pitch, we had to help tooth collect teeth and abolish all of the nightmares. One of those nights I saw Elsa. It was impossible to get into her castle, but her room was covered in ice. It was the middle of spring and there was ice all inside.

I took some frost off the window and made a snowman the woke her. She got up and the ice slowly melted away. She hugged the snowman and danced around the room with him. I made the snowman bring her back to bed and tuck her in. She fell back asleep and I left.

At the time, I didn't know that it was Elsa or even a soon to be queen. But seeing Elsa today reminded me of her little scared self. And I didn't like seeing her sad.
