The cold air filled the room as Salvatore yanked Kailani from the floor of the kitchen, his grip firm and unyielding, dragging her body toward the bathroom.

The next morning, after breakfast Salvatore re-entered the room holding a shock collar. Without a word, he buckled it around her neck.

He tugged on the leash, causing it to shock her, making her wince and her hands falter, forcing her to crawl after him as he led her up to the main house. The collar hummed ominously against her skin, threatening her with every movement.

When they reached the main house, Salvatore abruptly yanked on the collar, sending another electric shock through Kailani’s body. She yelped, collapsing to her knees, her body trembling. His tall figure loomed above her, casting a shadow as she gasped for air, her body trembling from the shocks. Without a word, he dragged her inside, the leash tight in his gloved grip, leading her directly into his office.

Once inside, he positioned himself in his large leather chair, adjusting the collar once again to ensure it held firm before untying the tie around his neck. Each movement was slow and deliberate. He loosened his shirt, unbuttoning it slightly, revealing the ink that covered his toned chest, muscles rippling beneath his skin.

Salvatore wrapped the loosened tie around her eyes, leaving her in complete darkness. With his mask off, the cigarette he lit was the only indicator of his presence, its smoke curling through the air.

Salvatore’s grip on her waist tightened, fingers digging into her skin with possessive force. He yanked her toward him so sharply that her knees scraped against the floor, and her gasp echoed in the room.
