I wake up to sounds coming from the kitchen. It takes me a moment to remember where I am as yesterday's events coming flooding back. I really am living in a mansion in a magic world, and there really is a fiery hot man currently cooking for me in the kitchen. I groggily get up from the couch.
"Is that coffee I smell?" Asta looks up from his mixing bowl. He flashes me a big toothy grin. "Good morning gorgeous! How did you sleep?"
"Good morning, I slept great it's just the waking up part I'm not good at."
"I got you covered on that I did Indeed make coffee." He points to his right at the coffee pot I hadn't seen yet. He already had a cup set out for me. I fill the cup up and take a sip letting the black liquid awaken my senses.
"Thank you Asta. You really have been far too kind to me." He stops mixing to look at me shaking his head. "There's no such thing as far too kind, you just haven't experienced nearly enough kindness in your life. I plan to change that."
"Thank you."
"Always. Do you want to help me make some pancakes?"
"I would love too."
After we've finished making breakfast and eating Asta gives me a pair a dark blue pants and a silk golden blouse. After we both finish changing I grab some coffee to go and we head to the training fields. When we get there, we passed through many different magical creatures training in the many different fields until we get to a secluded one in the back. Asta explained to me on the way here that this was one of the fields reserved for just the head three to train. The training fields are just large plots of land each with different supply boxes equipped for different kinds of training for the different species.
"Okay so first off since we don't know what kind of magic you have; we're going to just sit down here." Asta says sitting down in front of me. I think it's a little weird, but I sit down in front of him.
"It's a little cold out here I kinda wish I had a jacket."
"I'll keep that in mind next for next time for now just try to focus." He keeps talking telling me to breath in and out, but I can't quite focus because of how cold I am. I sit there for a while trying my best to breath in and out with him. I rub my arms shivering. "I can't focus." I say standing up to pace around for warmth.
"We've only been out here for barely an hour I know it's cold, but I know you can do this you just have to focus on bringing that magic out. For an example when I was first controlling my fire, I'd think about fire it's warmth the way it smells until I could feel the magic in myself and bring it out. Now I can do it just like this." He snaps his fingers and a flame burst forth from one of his fingertips. "It just takes time little fox." He sits back down, and I do the same. I try to focus on my breathing and thinking about the warmth of fire. I don't make much progress and before I know it two more hours have passed. "I don't think I can do this Asta." I sigh opening my eyes to look at him. His violet orbs gleam as he stares at me. "I know you can Luna and if you don't today that's okay, we'll try for a little longer and then we'll stop for the day. So just hold on for a bit longer for me."
I close my eyes again as the wind picks up whipping bitterly around me. I shiver once again losing my focus because of the cold. I take a deep breath hoping the wind will die back down. It doesn't it seems to be whipping around me fiercer than before. I start to rub my hands together like I would in the human world trying to light myself on fire when I was cold. I think about the warmth of fire like Asta said as I rub my hands together my entire body shaking with cold as the wind keeps up its brutal assault. I start to feel something surging through my body like every nerve in my body is on fire. Is this the magic Asta was talking about? I shriek as the energy that surging through me erupts in a burst of flames from both my palms.
