Ch 10: Spontaneous date

Ichika prided herself on being a good student. She actually liked going to school unlike many. But now more than ever, she wanted to go to school but not to learn, instead to knock some sense into her blonde soulmate.

Unfortunately, fate wasn't on her side as following the attack at USJ, campus was closed the day after. Which made sense, as Midoriya had been injured, not to mention her teacher. And although everyone else had been unharmed, it was still a harrowing experience to go through, and a day off might help everyone relax and process what they've been through.

Normally, Ichika would be thankful for that as it gave her a chance to think about her first villain experience and compare it to the USJ attack, see how she improved, and what she still needed to work on. But unfortunately, her mind was filled with the irritating blonde so she was unable to spend her time wisely.

"Ughh, damn it! I need to talk to Katsuki!"

She punched her pillow as she groaned from her bed. She sighed as she relaxed back into the soft mattress.

The previous day had been filled with a mix of emotions for her. But she definitely did not expect to finish it fuming about what the explosive blonde told her.

"Now that I know how your quirk feels, you definitely can't use it on any guy."

She hit her pillow again, but now with more force. As she glared down at the pillow, almost imagining it was Katsuki.

"Who does he think he is? Telling me how I can or can't use my quirk..." She muttered to herself.

My soulmate...

She answered her own question, which only made her sigh harder. As much as she wished to talk to the spiky haired blonde, she didn't have his phone number or knew where he lived. The only person she had exchanged phone numbers with was Mina. And Ichika knew that as his soulmate, if she did not have his phone number neither did Mina or any of her classmates.

Well, maybe...?

The green haired boy came to mind, he was the only one who she thought may have Katsuki's number but unfortunately, she also didn't have his number.

Agh, damn it!

She tossed and turned in her bed as she thought about what to do.

She had already called Rika yesterday to rant about what Katsuki had told her, but in a surprising twist of events, her best friend actually agreed with the irritating blonde.

"I can't blame him. You know how many guys have gotten crushes for you after you healed them? Your touch is very gentle, your power relaxes, and to top it all off, you heal their injury. I even remember a guy or two confess to you on the spot."

Ichika rolls her eyes. As if it's her fault that guys have their minds in the gutter.

My quirk can heal, so if someone needs the help as an inspiring hero, I need to provide it.

Rika doesn't get it since she's not an inspiring hero. But maybe Mina would side with me as a fellow inspiring hero.

Ichika is about to call her when she remembers that Mina doesn't know Katsuki is her soulmate.

Part of her feels like telling her just so she can rant to someone that will actually side with her but in the end decides against it.

pink haired girl, she knew how chatty she was and wasn't sure if she could keep the secret.

"Ugh, I'm gonna turn myself crazy if I just think about this. I need to leave the house." She mumbled to herself.
