After the bell rang I put the ingredients away and stored the cauldron with the other ones and looked at Snape, who was busy with George and Fred, scolding them for putting the wrong ingredients in Ron's potion.

'do I leave? Wait?'
I looked at the door before standing still and looking at the floor. After a while of thinking I decided to start packing my stuff up before I noticed both of them leaving, and then Snape called my name over.
I walked close to his desk and was trembling a bit. He instructed me to take a seat, so I did.

"So Remus talked to me a bit earlier, I'm sure you seen that. Since I'm your house leader, most teachers inform me if you're acting up or if something is wrong. Lunar I want you to feel safe at Hogwarts, understand?" I nodded and stared at the stuff on his desk.

"So earlier in class, can you tell me why you couldn't roll your sleeves up?" I looked up at him and then returned my gaze to my lap. Hesitantly, I shook my head, and he responded by letting out a sigh and silence fell.

It didn't last long, Lupin walked in and broke the long silence we had. "I'm here, sorry I'm a bit late." He walked close to us and sat in the chair next to me. He must have noticed I was shaking because the next moment he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"It's fine, we just started" Snape's voice changed from the soft voice he was using to a calm, almost soothing voice. "I got a bit injured yesterday, some of the potion splashed on my arm and burnt it." I finally managed to speak, my voice always sore.

"Oh? Can I see? I want to make sure you didn't get too injured," Professor Snape said before reaching for my arms, which I pulled back and held close to my chest.
"Oh, no, it's ok, I had Hermione check them! Heh!"

"Well, I would still like to check, I know more then granger. He continued to reach for my arm. At this point, I sunk back in my seat and started tearing up, I knew I had got caught. They knew. I dropped my arms gently onto my lap and started crying.

Snape cleared a spot on his desk so I could rest my arms on it, and then reached his hand out and patted the spot on the desk. Hesitantly, I reached both of my shaky arms close to him and rested them on the desk. He gripped my left arm gently and slowly rolled the sleeve up while Lupin took my right arm and rolled the sleeve up.

Slowly, Snape unwrapped the messy bandage wraps, and uncovering both of my arms. "Oh, lunar.." Snape stated as he slowly revealed the cuts, scars, bruises, and burn marks buried deep into my arms. There was a long period of silence before Lupin reached over and slowly cleaned up the cuts while Snape spoke to me about them.

"Why'd you do this?.." He shared a concerned look with me. "F..family.." I looked at him and tried not to focus on the stinging feeling in my arms. He noticed I was still shaking and crying from earlier, to which he came to our side of the desk and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Hey, shhhh, easy there, take some deep breaths for me." I looked down and started crying harder. I couldn't hold it in anymore.

I inhaled slowly and exhaled while watching Lupin redo my messy wrap, he made it look more neat and secure before he rolled my sleeves down slowly. "I'm going to talk to Dumbledore, can you keep her here?" Snape nodded. "Will do." And with that, lupin left the room, leaving me and Snape.

"Do you wanna tell me what happened?" I shook my head and teared up again, the hot tears ran down my cheeks, he knew what they would do to me. "Lun did they hurt you?" I nodded softly in response. "How?" He was poking around to much, it was overwhelming. He opened his mouth to ask again, but I cut him off.

I snapped and yelled "Enough!.." before slamming my fists on the desk, and stood up before rushing out the door. Running through the empty hallways felt weird, it was quiet. I ran into a few ghosts before making my way up the astronomy tower. I sat on the cold floor and trembled, looking at the night sky. It was always peaceful. I shuffled around before pulling the pocket knife that my father gave me before leaving me. He left me with my mother. With her.

I had sharpened it this morning, so it was ready in case I needed it. Rolling my sleeves up, I undid the bandages Lupin had done and dragged the knife across my bare skin. The cold air brushing against my open wounds felt nice, and the adrenaline rush was enough for me to continue, slashes ranged from small to big.

I felt slightly dizzy, so I set the blade down and exhaled shakily. The adrenaline went away, and I was left there, slowly blacking out. 'fuck.. I went too deep..' A tall black figure appeared in front of me before kneeling and placing a cloth over my open cuts.

"B-Blaise?.." I opened my eyes slightly. "I'm here." 'no! Fuck, not him!' "I've got you, draco go get Snape!" Just then i noticed the second figure rush down the stairs, Blaise pulled me closer to him and kept the two cloths over my cuts while cursing under his breath.

Then, 3 black figures rushed up the stairs. One stood in front of me, one took Blaise's spot and crouched down beside me, and the other was on my other side. Both held the cloths against my arms. "It's ok, please stay with us lun." Snape. Snape was on my left side, he demanded that the two boys to go to the Great hall, and not say a peep. Draco left immediately, while Blaise on the other hand hesitated. He stood there, watching me.

"We're here lunar, we've got you." Lupin spoke on my right side. "Blaise, go" Lupin looked at Blaise before focusing his attention back on me while I slowly tilted my head back and leaned it against a pillar and closed my eyes, I couldn't keep them open anymore.

"She'll be ok, we need to get her to the hospital wing" I couldn't recognize the voice, all I knew was that I blacked out, and when I awoke I was in a small white bed. Slowly, I lifted my numb body up. 'ugh.. my head..' I had woken up with a massive headache.

"Madam Pomfrey, she's up" Snape spoke and then sat in the chair next to my bed, the sheets were a snowy white color. I looked at them and started to cry again. "Hey, lunar, don't cry please" Snape reached his hand over and made me look at him before he wiped my tears away.

"I-im so sorry professor.. I'm sorry you have to deal with me.." I whined. "It's alright lunar, it's my job." He responded in a calm collected voice. 'How could he be calm?'
"No it's not, I'm sorry I'm burdening you.." my voice was quiet, it was hard to speak.
"Lunar, I promise, it's ok. Do you need some water?" Hesitantly I slightly nodded, that's when Madam Pomfrey walked away, I assumed she was getting water for me.

Looking down, I saw the neat bandages wrapped up in my arms. "I'm s-" Snape interrupted me quickly. "Lun, don't." I looked back at Snape before nodding and sighing.
"Let me help you lunar, please."
