Michael is brought in with a pretty bad burn on his back. I rush in to help him and we perform a debridement procedure on him. During that procedure I find a small piece of cloth. It's too dark to be apart of a prisoner uniform. It looks to be a piece of a guard's uniform.

After it's over I stay with him until morning. Just to keep an eye on him, you know? That's it.

When I see him slowly open his eyes in the morning I rush to kneel by his side.

"Michael, it's Adelyn, how are you feeling?"

"Groggy." he answers as he closes his eyes.

"It's the anesthesia." I inform him.

He opens them looking confused, "Why did I have anesthesia?"

"We had to perform a procedure."

He seems confused still at that answer but then he slowly gets up and puts his shirt on.

I pour him a cup of water and walk over to him with painkillers.

"How bad is it?" he asks.

"I'd take the pills." I reply.

"Do I get to see it?"

"No, the bandage stays on for now. Take your pills." I instruct him.

He does as instructed.

I'm curios about if he'll tell me who burned him. "Who did this to you?" I ask him straight.

"This is the part where I don't answer you." he replies.

"Okay then, I'll have you sent back to your cell."

"All yours." I tell the CO waiting outside for Michael. I go to call Katie and ask for her opinion with this piece of cloth I found in Michael.

"What is it?" she asks.

"It was fused into Michael Scofield's skin. I removed it during the debridement procedure." I answer.

"And what about it?"

"This fabric doesn't come from a standard issue prison uniform."

"Where does it come from then?" she's confused.

"From what I can tell..a guard's uniform."

She tells me that that's a huge accusation and I should think more about what I'm saying.

...

I have thought about it and decide to go to the Warden later with what I've found. Michael is leaving as I'm waiting to go in.

The warden asks what he can do for me.

"Actually it's about Scofield, sir." I answer.

"Come in." he says. "What about Scofield?"

"The burn on his back is fairly serious."

"He seems to be recovering." he states.

"At first I assumed he was being assaulted by another inmate. But I found this in the skin on his back."

"What's this?" he asks.

"It's fabric. Came from a guard's uniform."
