Once he got home, Light went straight to his room. He closed the door behind him, breathing out a sigh of relief at the feeling of safety and privacy. He walked over to his desk and pulled out the straight note, planning to write more gay people names down thinking his fixing them.

He felt a hint of satisfaction at the thought of turning more people straight, like he was doing the world a favor and fixing the wrongs. He started flipping through his year book, searching for more names as he sat down at his desk.

he on's the mini tv and sees a male same-sex couple with their full names on the screen

Light's heart skipped a beat as he saw the couple on the TV. They were a same-sex couple, and their full names were clearly displayed on the screen. It was the perfect opportunity to use the straight note on them.

He quickly grabbed the pen and the straight note, his mind racing with excitement and anticipation. He felt a bit guilty about doing it, but he pushed the feeling down, convinced that he was doing a good thing by fixing the couple.

the couple said on screen to each other "we're breaking up, you need to turn normal and date the opposite gender." those are exactly the things Ryuk said to Light that this is what will happen when the gay person name he write down is dating someone.

Light felt a jolt of surprise at the words coming from the couple on the TV. It was exactly the same as what Ryuk had told him, and it made his stomach clench with a mixture of excitement and unease.

Suddenly, the letter "L" appeared on screen

Light's heart dropped as he saw the familiar "L" appear on the screen. He felt a wave of panic suddenly wash over him, his pulse racing in his chest. He stared at the screen, feeling as though Ryuk's warning was coming back to haunt him.

He couldn't believe what he was seeing. L had somehow appeared on the screen, and he was already involved in this situation. Light felt incredibly anxious, all the confidence he had felt moments before evaporating in an instant. He gripped the straight note tighter, his mind racing with questions and possibilities.

On the screen, L appeared on the screen, his face a mix of his usual seriousness and curiosity. "It appears that there's someone out there making gay people turn straight, and it looks like they're targeting same-sex couples." L's voice had a hint of tension in it. "This is a serious matter, and I'm going to find out who's doing it. I didn't believe that this person was real at first so I set this trap up and they fell for it."

Light felt his heart rate increase, his hands shaking as L spoke. He felt as though he had been caught, even though L didn't know it was him. He suddenly felt a bit of anger and frustration at L's words, as though the detective was interfering in his plans. But at the same time, he felt a flutter of admiration for L's intelligence and tactics. "He set a trap for me." he thought to himself, feeling a mix of worry and awe.

Light was torn between feeling upset that L was getting involved in his plans and feeling impressed by the detective's cleverness. He couldn't help but wonder just how far L was going to go with this investigation, and how much he would be able to figure out. He felt a hint of fear at the possibility of being discovered, but he also felt the strange urge to test L's capabilities.

The sound of Ryuk's voice suddenly snapped Light out of his thoughts. He had almost forgotten that the shinigami was there, watching the whole thing unfold. He looked over at Ryuk, feeling relieved but also a bit annoyed at the shinigami's timing.

"Looks like your little game is getting interesting" Ryuk said, his voice dripping with amusement. Light rolled his eyes, feeling a bit annoyed by the shinigami's nonchalant attitude.
