A knock on the door signaled the arrival of the task force. Soichiro opened the door to find L, Watari, and the other task force members standing outside. "Come in." He said, ushering them into the room.

The group filed into the room, their expressions a mix of confusion and curiosity. L, in particular, scanned the room, his eyes focusing on Light, who sat nervously on the couch, his eyes darted towards the floor.

L observed Light for a moment, his gaze calculating and perceptive. He could sense the tension in the room, and he knew something was amiss. He finally spoke, his voice calm and level.
"What's going on, Soichiro?"

Soichiro sighed, the weight of the situation visible on his face. He motioned for everyone to take a seat before speaking. "I called you all here because I've discovered something about Light that I couldn't keep to myself."

Soichiro took a deep breath, stealing a glance at his son, who was fidgeting nervously on the couch. Then he spoke, his voice firm and resolute. "Light has been using a supernatural notebook to manipulate people's sexuality."

A stunned silence fell over the room on the revelation. The task force exchanged shocked glances, struggling to process what they had just been told. L, however, remained eerily calm, his eyes fixed on Light, who looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him whole.

Watari broke the silence, his voice filled with disbelief. "A notebook that can manipulate people's sexuality? That's...unbelievable."

L nodded to Watari, who pulled out his phone and played the video that Misa had sent him.
The room grew quiet and tense as everyone watched the recording. The video showed Light handling the Straight Note and writing down the names of various individuals. The evidence was irrefutable proof of Light's actions.

Ryuk materialized again, his presence adding an even more eerie atmosphere to the room. The Shinigami hovered above the group, silently watching the unfolding scene with a wicked grin on his face.

Ryuk suddenly spoke up, his voice cutting through the silence. He glanced at Light, who looked like he wanted to sink through the floor.
"Light, don't forget about the deal we made about the bucket of water on your head if you get caught."

Light's mind was racing as he desperately tried to find a way out of this situation. He glanced nervously at Ryuk, who continued to float above them, watching the scene unfold. Light spoke up, his voice shaky and uncertain. "Ryuk, I'm not technically caught yet, right? I could just run away and escape this whole thing."

Ryuk chuckled, enjoying the sheer desperation seeping from Light's words. He leaned in a bit closer, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "You could try, but you're not getting very far. L is always one step ahead, you know that."

Light clenched his fists, trying to hold onto whatever shred of composure he had left. He shot a defiant glare at Ryuk, his voice quivering slightly. "Yeah, well, I'm always two steps ahead. I can outmaneuver L, I can come up with a plan."

Ryuk chuckled again, amused by Light's audacity.
"Oh, really? You think you can outplay L? The greatest detective in the world? Good luck with that, kid."

Light bolted out of the room, his heart racing and adrenaline pumping through his veins. He ran down the hallway, desperate to escape from the situation. L, however, was quick to react. He immediately followed after Light, his long strides catching up to Light within moments. Before Light could make it to the door, L grabbed his arm and pulled him back, pinning him against the wall. "Nice try, Light. But you're not going anywhere."

Light struggled against L's grip, trying to break free, but L's grip was firm and unwavering. Light tried to catch his breath, his heart thudding in his chest. "Let go of me! You can't prove anything!"
