Yeah. That is quite self explanatory but let me give some instances. A lot of us authors, of course including myself, would love to keep writing and writing but would not have known when and where to stop the story or novel we are righting. Am I right or am I wrong?
Just like when you left your chapter on hold and unreleased, and kept it there for decades or even more, a story should also not be left hanging on a cliff. It should not be left unfinished or else the readers would bash you for doing so.
Some, if not most, of readers even love to read a book, only when it is completely finished. That's because they never liked to be left hanging in the first place.
They do not want to be at the edge of their seats and stay there until your next few chapters are uploaded. Would you like to do such a thing? Comment yes or no and explain why, on the comment section down below.
I know that your answer would also be a no, no, NO! Right? So if you are a writer, be considerate towards your readers. Finish your stories as soon as possible so they'd start reading it and finish them on time!
I'm not scolding you or reprimanding you but just giving you a very gentle reminder so as to prevent you from being bashed online. Alright? Adios mi amigos y amigas! Bye for now!
