HANNAH

I slammed my fist on my clock as it ringed to life.

I yawned as I stretched my limbs. I pushed the covers off me and stood up. I slipped on my fuzzy slippers and went inside my bathroom.

I took a shower before brushing my teeth. I stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body.

I opened my wardrobe and took out my uniform and started to get dressed.

Standing in front of the mirror, I admired myself. I smiled before giving myself a wink.

"I'm so stunning." I complimented before I heard a snort. I let out a scream as I turned around.

"Stunning? More like trash." Hansel smirked.

"How long have you been there?!" I shrieked. "Did you just watch me dress? Ew, that's actually disgusting." My brows scrunched up together.

"What? Ew, no way!" He shook his head as he grimaced at the thought. "I just wanted to say that ma told me to call you downstairs. Breakfast is ready so get your ugly ass down stairs."

I let out a gasp, "How dare you call me ugly?!"

"Can't help that you are." He shrugged and I was seconds away from ripping his hair off his scalp.

He walked out of my room, closing the door behind him. I let out a frustrated groan and grabbed my bag.

I walked out of my room and climbed down the stairs.

Once I walked in the dining room, I was greeted by my family waiting at the table for me.

"Good morning!" I greeted with a smile.

"Good morning, big sissy!" Helen greeted me back with a smile. I walked up to her and kissed her forehead.

"Morning, sweetheart. How's sleep?" Pa was next to greet me as he sipped his coffee.

"Good as always, pa!" I grinned and took a sit on my seat next to Hansel. Helen was sitting across from me as we waited for the food and ma.

I watched ma cook from the kitchen as Helen and Hansel played rock paper scissors since Helen asked so sweetly if they could play to pass time while pa was reading the newspaper.

Ma soon finished cooking and placed the food on the table. We immediately dug in once ma finished placing the food.

I moaned in delight as I ate. "Ahh~ You always cook the best meals ma!"

Hansel nodded his head in agreement. "Truly a chef."

Ma shook her head with a smile. "Just hurry up and finish eating. You'll be late if you don't."

We all continued eating, but I noticed ma and pa conversing quietly, so quiet that none of us could hear.

Ma had a worried look on her face. I had a bad feeling and wanted to ask, but felt that I shouldn't.

I ignored the worry building in my guts and continued eating.

I pushed my plate away from me as I finished eating. Ma collected the dishes and went to the sink and started washing the dishes.

I hanged my bag on my shoulder before walking out of the house with Hansel and Helen beside me.

Pa was already waiting for us in the car. I stepped in and helped Helen get in the car.

Helen sat in the middle of me and Hansel.

"Don't forget to buckle seat belts!" Pa reminded us and we soon did as he said.

Pa inserted the car key and started the engine. Pa drove out of the garage and into the streets of the city.

We drove in silence with me and Hansel scrolling through our phones while Helen watched with me on my phone.

The car came to a stop in front of our school and we stepped out.

Hansel was the first to step out. "Hey, sis!" He called out to me and I turned my head towards him. "Can you drop Helen off to her room? I have to be early today. I'll make it up to you next time. Bye!" He walked off as we watched his back as he entered the school.

I let out a sigh. "Bye, pa. Stay safe on your way home and to work."

I stepped out and helped Helen step out of the car and held her hand. Helen waved at pa and we walked inside of the school.

I dropped her off to her room before going to my own classroom.
