The stranger stood before them, a sly grin spreading across his face. Kavya's heart sank. How did he find them? Maya's eyes narrowed, her hand instinctively reaching for her gun. Raj stepped forward, his eyes locked on the stranger. "You're not going to stop us," he growled.

The stranger chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, but I will," he said, his voice dripping with confidence. "You see, I have a surprise waiting for you. One that will change everything." Kavya's instincts screamed at her to be cautious, but she couldn't help feeling a sense of unease. What did he have planned?

The stranger snapped his fingers, and the room was filled with the sound of footsteps. Kavya, Raj, and Maya turned to see a group of heavily armed guards emerging from the shadows. The stranger smiled, clearly pleased with himself. "You see, I've been expecting you," he said. "And I've taken certain... precautions."

Kavya's eyes darted around the room, searching for an escape route. But they were surrounded. Maya stepped forward, her gun at the ready. "We're not going down without a fight," she said. Raj nodded in agreement, his eyes locked on the guards.

The stranger chuckled. "I'm not going to kill you," he said. "At least, not yet. I have a proposal for you. One that I think you'll find... interesting." Kavya's instincts screamed at her to be cautious, but she couldn't help feeling a spark of curiosity. What did he have planned?

The guards moved closer, their guns trained on Kavya, Raj, and Maya. The stranger gestured to a nearby door. "Shall we discuss this further... in private?" he said. Kavya hesitated, unsure of what to do. But Maya nodded, her eyes locked on the stranger. "Let's hear him out," she said.

Kavya, Raj, and Maya were led to a luxurious office, the stranger following close behind. He gestured to a plush couch, inviting them to sit. Kavya's eyes scanned the room, taking in the expensive artwork and polished mahogany desk. The stranger smiled, noticing her gaze. "I like to surround myself with beauty," he said.

"So, what's your proposal?" Maya asked, her voice firm. The stranger leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers. "I want to offer you a deal," he said. "Join me, and I'll give you the resources you need to take down The Archon. Together, we can achieve great things."

Raj snorted. "You expect us to trust you?" he said. The stranger shrugged. "I don't expect anything. But I'm willing to take a risk. You see, I have a... personal stake in this."

Kavya's curiosity was piqued. "What do you mean?" she asked. The stranger's smile faltered for a moment, revealing a glimmer of vulnerability. "Let's just say I have a score to settle," he said.
