It had been a week since classes started, and Yeji, Chaeryeong, Ryujin, Lia, and Yuna had quickly formed a tight-knit group. They had synchronized their schedules to share the same classes and were all planning to join the same clubs. Their camaraderie had not gone unnoticed; they had become the talk of the campus. Each of them was already quite pretty and exceptionally talented, which led to a lot of admiration from the boys, envy from the girls, and approval from the professors. As the cheerleading tryouts approached, the group practiced diligently every day, determined to give their best. Their routines were becoming increasingly polished, and they could feel their confidence growing with each session.
One afternoon, after an intense practice, the girls gathered in the common area of their dorm, taking a much-needed break. They sprawled out on the couches, their phones in hand as they scrolled through social media and chatted about their day.
Ryujin, with a mischievous glint in her eye, decided to tease Lia. "Come on, Lia, just admit it. We all know you like him."
Lia's cheeks flushed bright red, and she tried to hide her face behind her phone, clearly flustered. "I don't know what you're talking about," she mumbled, but her smile betrayed her.
Chaeryeong, curious about the source of Lia's embarrassment, leaned in. "What? Who is it, Lia?"
Lia, still blushing, reluctantly shared her phone screen with the group. The picture showed a handsome guy with a bright smile, surrounded by friends. The caption read:

❤️ liked by you and 1058 othersChaeryeong's attention, however, was drawn not to the guy Lia was pointing at but to another person standing in the background of the photo. She couldn't tear her eyes away from him. There was something about him that intrigued her, even though he wasn't the main focus of the photo.
Lia's excitement was palpable as she looked at Chaeryeong. "He's really handsome, right?"
Chaeryeong blinked, startled out of her reverie. "Y-yes, he is," she stuttered, her voice betraying her surprise.
Ryujin noticed Chaeryeong's unusual reaction and raised an eyebrow. "Wait a minute, Chaeryeong. You're not looking at the guy Lia likes, are you?"
Chaeryeong shook her head quickly, trying to compose herself. "No, no, I was just... I mean, he's nice-looking too. But I was more curious about the guy in the background."
Yuna leaned closer to Chaeryeong, her curiosity piqued. "Really? Who is he?"
Chaeryeong glanced back at the photo, trying to remember the details. "I'm not sure, but there's something about him that caught my eye. I don't even know his name."
"Oh, that guy," Yeji said, her voice filled with a mix of excitement and knowledge. "I know him. He's on the football team, and he's said to be really, really cold. Everyone says he's completely focused on his game and winning. He's like a heartthrob, I would say."
