You put the book with the bets in the drawer. There wasn't much work to do at the betting shop today, so the working day ended quickly. You took your bag and were ready to leave with Esme when Finn entered the room. Esme smiled and hurried to leave you alone.

Finn lifted his coat slightly, showing you the gun tucked in his waistband. Your eyes grew bigger, not understanding what was going on.

"You wanted me to teach you how to shoot, right?" he said after letting go off of his coat, hiding the gun.

"Right." you nodded, remembering that night when you almost shot him.

"Shall we go then?" he nodded towards the back door. You quietly followed him out of the betting shop.

In the backyard of the shop, he had already set up a table in front of the wall and had arranged several empty bottles of liquor. He stood a few meters away from the table and motioned for you to approach.

After you stood next to him, he pulled out the gun. "First you have to cock the gun." he said as he clocked the hammer. "Then you point it at the target and at the right time you shoot." he raised the gun and shot at the bottles, he hit the bottle in the middle.

You got startled by the loud sound which the gun made and the following sound of shattering glass. To your surprise Finn didn't even flinch.

"Now is your turn." he carefully handed you the weapon. You looked at the gun which was laying now in your hand, all of a sudden you weren't sure if you wanted to learn how to shoot, but then you remember seeing the lifeless body of your father laying in the hallway with his brains all over the wall.

You cocked the gun and slowly pointed it to the bottle on the left side of the table. You focused and after taking a deep breath you shot. Your hands flew up and you didn't hit the target.

"Bollocks!" you scolded disappointed in yourself.

"It's okay, try again." Finn said and so you did. Unfortunately you missed again.

"Here, let me help you." he walked behind you and put his hands around yours. He laid his head on your shoulder and you could feel his hot breathing caressing your neck, making you get goosebumps. Him being this close to you made it even harder for you to focus. He was practically hugging you. Your heart skipped a beat when he shifted even closer to you.

"Whenever you are ready pull the trigger." he said after pointing your hands at the empty bottle.

"Okay." your voice was shaky. You took yet another deep breath and pulled the trigger. This time your hands stayed in place, thanks to Finn who was holding you tightly, and you manged to hit the bottle.

"You did it." he said happily, still hugging you.

"Yea." you turned your head slightly to look at him. Your faces were so close to each other that your noses were almost touching. After realising that you both took a step back.

"Now try alone." he said awkward while clearing his throat.

"Sure." with more confidence you pointed the gun and shot. One again you missed the target, but this time you were really close to hitting it.

Finn reloaded the weapon while explaining how to do so and handed it back to you. You tried a few more times, but you had no luck.

"Come on (Y/n), you can do this." Finn said from behind you when there was only one bullet left. You smiled slightly and shot towards the bottle and this time you manged to hit it. It shattered in pieces and thr smile on your face grew bigger.

"That's my girl." Finn lifted you up and spun you around happily. You laughed full of joy because he had just called you his girl. You couldn't care less about the lesson in that moment. Your feelings towards him were getting stronger and stronger. It was getting hard for you to don't open up to him, but you were terrified of rejection.

He realised what he was doing and put you back down. "Good job, (Y/n)." he nervously scratched the back of his head.

"Thanks, Finn." you smiled and felt as your cheeks burnt red. Before it could get more awkward you decided to go back home and get high as a way to celebrate your accomplishment.
