First Person POV, Shao Ip
I didn't think today could get any worse than finding Assassin recruits, but somehow did. Abstergo is here with Daniel Cross, and to make things worse, they're after the students. What could the Templars want with them? I better find out before they get to the students.

I used the green shrubs to hide from the sight of two Abstergo guards and begin to ease drop them while also tailing them.

Abstergo guard 1: Hey, do you ever wonder why the higher ups want these kids?

Abstergo guard 2: I don't know, something about genetic memory?

Me: *mentally* Genetic memory? Does this mean they all have an assassin ancestor?

Abstergo guard 1: But they're just kids. What could Vidic really want with them.

Abstergo guard 2: Your guess is good as mine. But we do have our orders so let's just find these kids before they get away.

The guards left the scene, leaving me puzzled. Are Abstergo and the Templars after these kids because of their genetic memories? Could there be a piece of Eden that we have yet to discover? I can't be sure but I need to find out more. Soon, I found another Abstergo guard all by himself. I notice something in his hand. Possibly something that could hold information. I hide behind a large tree and waited for him to come close. When he was close enough to the tree I begin to whistle to attract his attention. He turned around and began heading towards the tree I was hiding. When the guard came close to where I was hiding, I came out of hiding and impaled him with my hidden blade and dragged his body behind the tree. I searched his pockets for the letter and managed to find it. It was letter from Warren Vidic, an Abstergo scientist working for Abstergo's Animus project, a project Desmond unwilling took part in along with Subject 16, Clay Kaczmarek, and Daniel Cross. He asked Cross and a task force from Abstergo to go after the students of Beacon, needing them to find the location of a Piece of Eden.

Me: *mentally* I was right. There is a Piece of Eden around here. And the kids are the key to finding it. I gotta tell William Miles.

I ran to find the students.

Third Person

A view of Professor Ozpin watching the students on his Scroll at the Beacon Cliff overlooking the Emerald Forest when Glynda Goodwitch walks up behind him, holding her own tablet.

Glynda: The last pair has been formed, sir. *taps the screen to show the ending scene of "The Emerald Forest"* Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy... I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Miss Nikos. *the video changes to Pyrrha Nikos and Jaune Arc's trek through the woods* Additionally, we need to talk about this extra credit thing you set up.

Ozpin: Mmmm...

Glynda: I don't care what his transcripts say. That Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat. *walking back a little* I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes.*turning back to Ozpin* Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?*notices something on her tablet* Wait, what's this? *on her tablet reveals the Abstergo team and Cross making their way to the the Temple* Abstergo employees? Why would a pharmaceutical company be out here? *silence* Professor Ozpin?

Ozpin doesn't answer, watching his tablet with a contemplating interest as it shows the footage of Ruby Rose sitting in the grass and picking stray leaves while her "partner" Weiss Schnee walks in random directions.

Weiss: *walking right* It's definitely this way. *stops and starts walking left* I mean... this way! It's definitely this way. *stops in front of Ruby* Alright, it's official: We passed it.
