Neil wasn't ready to leave Ruhi all alone, but the air was telling him that he should leave her. His heart, however, wasn't ready to do so. Ultimately, he decided to agree with Ruhi and left the room with a heavy heart while Ruhi asked Vansh to leave as well.
She was sitting alone in the room, and there was one more person Ruhi knew was there- Kartik. He was present with her, and although Ruhi had asked him to leave as well, he didn't. He knew Ruhi needed him.
Ruhi took a deep breath and spoke with pain in her voice, "I am not a good daughter. I asked Matashree to marry the person who left her at the altar and caused her so much pain. I am not a good daughter. How much must Matashree have felt when I asked her to do so?"
Kartik, who listened to her, was heartbroken. He clenched his fist angrily and looked at Ruhi with pain. Seeing Ruhi like this broke his heart. A child's heart is truly precious, but what about Ruhi Birla? Her heart, which is breaking with each passing day, was making the child weak. Was her destiny so cruel to her?
"Ruhi bacha, it wasn't your fault. Stop blaming yourself. Don't blame yourself for the things you are not responsible for," said Kartik, trying to make her understand.
"No, nanu, I am not a good daughter. I gave pain to my Matashree, the pain which she didn't deserve," said Ruhi, crying. While Kartik's eyes were also filled with tears seeing her like this, he could bear anything, but the pain of his two precious ones wasn't on his list. Ruhi and Aarohi were both precious to him, and the pain both of these dear people were facing pained his heart.
"Ruhi, please, for God's sake, don't blame yourself. Aarohi's heart will ache when she sees you in this condition. Please, for her, don't cry," said Kartik, wiping her tears.
The air had its own essence; Ruhi's pain and Kartik's pain lingered in the air. The air knew that the pain both hearts carried was something that one didn't deserve.
Ruhi, who was crying her heart out, stopped because the words Kartik said hit her hard. She stopped crying and stood in front of God.
"I am sorry, God, and I won't let any pain come into Matashree's life this time. She deserves only happiness," said Ruhi with teary eyes.
Both Kartik and Ruhi talked for some time, and after a while, Aarohi came into the room.
"Hi Ruhi, what's happening?" said Aarohi with a smile.
"Hi sweetheart, can you call Mr. Handsome?" said Ruhi awkwardly.
"Who is this Mr. Handsome?" asked Aarohi, confused.
"Mr. Neil Birla," said Ruhi with a smile.
"Why do you want to talk to him?" said Aarohi with a frown.
"You are chealous of him," said Ruhi with a smirk.
"It's jealous," said Aarohi, looking at her.
"Wahi wahi, sweetheart," said Ruhi with a smile. After a minute, Aarohi called Neil.
"Hello," said Neil, worried.
"Hi, Ruhi wanted to talk to you, so I called you," said Aarohi with a frown.
"Hello, Ruhi bacha, are you fine?" asked Neil, worriedly.
"I am fine, and I am not angry with you anymore. Can we go eat ice cream tomorrow?" said Ruhi cutely. Neil felt relieved after hearing that Ruhi wasn't angry with him anymore.
"Why not, bacha? We will surely go," said Neil with a smile.
"Bye," said Ruhi, and Neil replied with "bye" only.
Neil was happily roaming around the house and went to sit at the dining table for dinner. Everyone wasn't there as they hadn't returned from work.
"Neil, when you came home, you were very upset, and now look, you are shining like the sun," said Shefali, looking at him.
"Hmmm, what happened, Neil, and what is the reason for this happiness?" asked Manjari, looking at him.
"Maa, Bhabhi, you met a girl in the Goenka house, Ruhi. She was angry with me when I returned home, but right now she called me and told me that she isn't angry with me anymore. I don't know why, but her silent behavior towards me was hurting me. But now she is not angry with me, which gave me another level of peace," said Neil with a bright smile.
"Looks like that little girl is very important to you," asked Shefali with a smile.
"I don't know, Bhabhi, but yes, her happiness is really important to me," said Neil with a smile.
"I haven't seen Neil smiling after so long, and that too heartily. I don't know who this girl is, but she has become an important part of his life and has given him the happiness that was missing in him. May God keep him happy always," said Manjari in her mind with a huge smile.
Just then, Harsh, Abhimanyu, Mahima, Anand, and Parth returned home.
"Neil, I knew that you would be so happy after hearing the news of my marriage," said Abhimanyu with a huge smile.
Manjari was really on the edge of her emotions, and she knew Neil would lose his smile soon if he talked to Abhimanyu. She was worriedly thinking about how to calm the situation.
"Maa, I am done with dinner. I am going to sleep," said Neil with a smile and went to his room to avoid creating any mess.
"What happened to him, Maa?" asked Abhimanyu, confused.
"Abhi, no one is that happy with this decision, and Neil is happy because of Ruhi, not your marriage," said Manjari, looking at him.
"Why is he happy because of that girl? This must be Aarohi's plan. She is using that girl to come close to my brother, and I won't let that happen," thought Abhimanyu angrily in his mind.
"Abhimanyu, we all agreed to this decision because of you so make sure about your soon-to-be wife, and we don't want you to create any other mess," said Harsh in a warning tone.
"That won't happen, sir. Akshu is a sensible one; she won't create any mess," said Abhimanyu, smiling.
"Yes, Abhimanyu, Akshara is a sensible one. That's why she ran away with her soon-to-be jija ji," said Mahima in a taunting tone, while Abhimanyu just looked on with a frown.
