It was a gentle evening in the rajvansh household, the kind where the sunbeams played hide and seek through the trees while the aroma of spices wafted through the air. Prisha stood in her sunlit kitchen, humming a sweet tune, a melody that seemed to mingle with the sounds of laughter emanating from the living room, where her three precious children were playing with various family members.

Today, the pot was bubbling with paneer gravy, Aarav's favorite. Just the day before, she had whipped up aloo ki sabji, Advaita’s beloved dish. The day before that, she had prepared a comforting plate of pasta, which had brought gleeful smiles to her other daughter, Sona. As a mother, each dish was a labor of love, and she rejoiced in knowing her kids' favorites, often swaying between their requests like a symphony conductor.

As Prisha stirred the increasingly fragrant gravy, she felt familiar warmth surrounding her waist. It was a comforting presence, she didn’t flinch, though. She knew it was Abhiman, her soulmate, her Maan. She smiled softly as he nestled his face in the crook of her neck, inhaling the scent of home that lingered there.

“Dinner smells divine,” he murmured, his voice a soft rumble against her skin.

"Yeah as it should" prisha said while humming a low melody.

"I'm talking about you meri jaan, my dinner" he pressurized the word "my dinner".

"Dhtt kuch bhi" prisha said as she got back to her work.

“Mera ghar, mera sukoon,” he whispered, his breath hot and reassuring against her ear. It made her blush, a warmth pooling in her cheeks as she turned slightly to meet his gaze.

“What’s cooking today?” Abhiman inquired, peering over her shoulder at the pot on the stove.

“Just your son’s favorite, paneer gravy,” Prisha replied, her heart swelling with joy as she spoke of Aarav's delight.

“And when’s my turn?” Abhiman teased, feigning a pout as he crossed his arms dramatically. “How long am I going to get the leftovers while the kids feast upon their favorites?”

Prisha chuckled, shaking her head playfully while stirring the gravy. “Oh come on! Tell me, and I’ll whip up your fav right away.”

Abhiman smirked, leaning against the kitchen counter, arms still crossed, “Alright. I want… you"

“ok doneee” she said, mockingly saluting him with a spatula, which only made him laugh.

“You’re all I need, you’re right in front of me!” His expression turned sincere, his eyes twinkling as he pulled her closer by the waist.

Just as he leaned in to place a soft kiss on her lips, their moment was interrupted by a series of exaggerated fake coughs coming from the living room. Advaita peered in, followed by Aarav and Sona, eyes wide with mock indignation.

“Mama! Papa! You can’t just kiss without an announcement!” Aarav exclaimed, mimicking a royal decree, causing the laughter in the room to swell.

“Right! A formal invitation next time!” Advaita agreed, holding a pillow as if it were a shield.

Prisha’s cheeks turned a deeper shade of red as she hid her face in Abhiman’s neck, letting out a little laugh. “Okay, okay! You’ve made your point!”

Abhiman pulled her closer, his laughter rumbling against her. “Looks like our romance is no longer private.”

At that moment, Sona waddled over dramatically, her hands on her hips. “Mumma! Enough with the mushy stuff! Did you save any panasa for us?”
